Has he played w/ an elite QB? I'm excited to see what he does w/ Allen. I keep reading that he has elite separation skills, and is also good at forcing missed tackles. We do not have anyone on the roster who can stretch the field, and he fits that bill. I can see Allen bringing out the best in him, and a few deep balls where Harty is 10 yards past the defender....

Well, since you're asking - I doubt it. I watch a lot of stuff on Near-Death experiences, which I do believe in. It sounds like a different level of consciousness, and there really isn't a concept of "time" as we know it. I think contemplating it from our more "earthly" perspective can be daunting, but I don't think it's along the lines of needing some good books to read to pass the time, or anything like that.

I think he's being brought in to be our slot, as well as returning. He checks a lot of boxes: gets great separation, great hands, great YAC, stretches the field. Those are all things we're lacking.

Would rather get Jamal Williams.

For what it's worth, Saints fans seemed to love this guy when healthy (at least that's what I've seen so far). I think this actually takes WR off the table for the 1st few rounds, which isn't a bad thing. Shakir can compete for WR2, and I think they still have some faith Davis can get back to the potential we saw in '21.

He forced 13 missed tackles on just 20 catches. Kind of addresses how we're near the bottom of the league in YAC.

I'd prefer a WR2 that is a bigger red zone target, kind of like Metcalf. So, opinions vary.

I don't really understand the criticism - we didn't really have field-stretching speed in the WR corps. Now we do.

Seems like he's staying. Looks like we'll just have to win a Super Bowl so he's happy.

I have concluded from reading most of the pages on this thread that Drew Rosenhaus has a pretty good job.

He was starting when our D was playing its best. He really wasn't bad, at all. He's our most physical corner, and great depth behind White, Elam & Johnson.

This would certainly take the Patriots' FA activity from zero to 60.

The consensus around the internet seems to be that the Bills are taking a step back this year, and the Jets are the team to beat in the AFCE now. Combined w/ KC being defending champs, and the Bengals being seen as the true contender to the AFC crown - we MAY just be back under the radar. At least a little bit. Which is just fine by me. I'd rather surprise teams. Now, if we could just get Romo to reign it in a little on the broadcasts...

It's been nice to turn the tables on Belichick these past few years. Healing for my soul. Having Brady there would definitely add to it. I was kind of hoping that we'd make the SB this past season & the Bucs would somehow get there too - one SB win over Brady would erase a lot of demons.

I haven't hated the Jets in decades. Could change this season.

The Jets are gonna be a tough out. The AFC East in general is probably in the running for toughest division. For once, it's the Patriots who are on the outside looking in. But that won't make it any easier for the Bills. If we take the division title this year, it will be well-earned. I think we're still the favorites, but it will come down to some close games w/ both the Jets and Phins.

Probably the draft for a lot of that. I think they'll try to replace Edmunds in FA, but otherwise I don't see any other non-depth kinds of moves.

A possibility, but not a sure thing. You can get starting linemen in rounds 2-4, and I'm not so sure that they see tackle as a 100% need. I think they would look to potentially draft a tackle in one of the 1st few rounds - but likely someone versatile who they could move to guard if Brown pans out like they hope.

He's great depth, and ST. He has played pretty well at various times when he's in there. I'm sure we still have plans to sign a replacement for Edmunds, or draft one.
