Funny to see the Marchand mentions - if I think about any player in any sport who I can't stand, that guy is the 1st who comes to mind. I think my sports hate is reserved more for fanbases. I like a lot of the players that have been mentioned here. I like Mahomes & Kelce - they're just fun to watch when they're not playing us. I like some of the guys who are loud & obnoxious, too. They make the league more entertaining. Maybe it's just part of getting older. I remember I couldn't stand Beasley in Dallas - but he became one of my favorite Bills. EDIT: seeing Watson & Gronk mentioned, I'd have to agree on those 2. Their actions are beyond redeemable. Though Gronk isn't active anymore, but I'm always disgusted when I see his "loveable goofy guy" act in commercials & think about that hit on Tre.

Did anyone see his post-game presser? I'll get some eyerolls, but I felt genuinely bad for him - which I never thought I'd say. He seemed like he'd rather be anywhere else than playing football for an NFL team.

I don't think he'll have the biggest impact - but I have a feeling that Cook is going to have his breakout game. For biggest impact, I'll go w/ Von this week. I think he really disrupts Rodgers in this one.

Jets x a million. I want to see the Pats in last place until the sun burns out.

Neither is a great album through & through - but both "Live at Budokan" an "Alive!" from Kiss were just huge in terms of influence and breaking both bands.

I agree w/ this (as a Yankees fan). I love Judge, and it pains me to think of him on another team. But when a guy around his age gets signed to one of those contracts, the fanbase usually ends up griping in the last half of it, w/ a player getting overpaid for diminishing performance. They should invest the money for a more well-rounded team. I do think they did better w/ roster construction this year - it wasn't a HR or bust line-up for awhile there. Benintendi & DJ were really our contact hitters. Losing them and Carpenter really hurt by the time they got to the Astros. It would have been much more competitive (imo) even if just Benny had been playing. Bummed for both of us this season! I really thought the chances of a Mets/Yankees final was good. Oh, well - next year. I took it as a sign that the Bills will finally get over the hump for sure (sorry to anyone reading - I don't believe in jinxes!)

Kinda goes without saying - but I'd rather be an older dude who lived through my team's struggles for years before finally having a great team to root for, than a Pats fan under 30 who has only known amazing success for their whole life. Reading comments online, those fans are like trust fund kids. Spoiled, angry, lost, delusional - how can a team not win? Has my whole life been a lie? When will they start winning Super Bowls every other year again? No one told me it would be like this! Poor things...

They definitely have a couple on the roster. And may have yet another come April.

The league just needs a little more film on Zappe. No way they really hit gold there. They'll trade Jones, and probably draft a QB next draft or the draft after that. And so the cycle begins.

Wow - Zappe coming in & scoring like that, after Jones threw another INT. That could be the quickest transition from "next Brady" to getting traded that the league has seen yet.

I thought I'd enjoy this - but watching him just look sad and realizing he doesn't have the fastball anymore is actually a bit of a bummer. Maybe because I'm older and have seen some of that myself. Though, on a much smaller scale, and without the millions of dollars and hopes of an entire city.

Any other Yankees fans in the house? It's a weird combo. The Bills have never won it all, fans here have absolutely zero entitlement at this point, and the nation basically roots for the Bills when their team isn't playing (with a few exceptions, and that is starting to slowly change). The Yankees are reviled if you're not a fan - very much like the Patriots in the NFL. It's so weird to experience that as a fan.

Maybe - but I think the whole debate on it is interesting. I've seen the best receivers in the league fall down, and drop easy ones. The offenses that McKenzie committed on Sunday don't warrant the somewhat over-the-top reaction on this thread - particularly since he is a guy who has come through for us before.

Cripes - this turned into parody real quick. I'm not gonna be lectured about being a "detached observer" after the years & pain I've gone through w/ this team. Sorry I wasted my time on this one.

Oh - so you don't know what the word "fickle" means. Got it. I stand by it. I don't see many other fanbases like ours - going through our kind of drought w/ as much dedication. I totally stand by it - and it sure doesn't make me "fickle." I'll be bumping this thread in the future, as I know 100% that McKenzie is going to have some big games for us.

He hasn't "earned" it. The thread title and "nickname" are something I'd expect to see from KC fans on their toxic board - not on a Bills board. I consider us to have the best fans in the world, and this thread does not reflect that. McKenzie has had so many great plays for us over the past few years. He & Josh Allen almost single-handedly won the 2nd regular season Pats game last year. I love that he's on this team. The EZ pass was a little behind him, and the pitch that led to the 1st fumble was more of timing thing - it didn't seem like he was solely responsible. I guess we can haggle about that stuff, but having one bad game shouldn't result in a thread like this.

Great to hear. We were watching a replay of the game, and everyone I was watching with agreed that there was a great presence of Bills fans there. This is such a different era for us. The past couple of decades was tough, but this is a good payoff.

Personally, I like that the Jets & Dolphins are good. We're all like fraternity brothers that went through the same hazing for 2 decades. As long as they're not TOO good - they're not. They're both potential playoff contenders, but we'd need to self-destruct to lose to either in January.

It's Edwards/Losman. Nothing magical about either QB.

If not for that phantom call on Kelce, I'd be more upset. But it felt like it more or less evened out. Though the trip was a lot more visible to the ref who was RIGHT THERE.

A quick word on the TD "drop"- the ball was thrown behind him. I still can't quite believe this thread. It will be good to bump the next time he makes a game-changing play, like he has a bunch of times for us.

It looks like his hand has been hurting - in addition to other reasons that have been mentioned here.

McKenzie has had SO many good & even great games at this point. There is absolutely no reason to disparage him for a couple of bad games & plays.
