  1. For sure. The AFC is stacked. Happy for the Jags. They've been through a lot, but the arrow is pointing up for them.
  2. Singletary is just so consistently good. 100% effort on every play - big runs, and nice catches that he turns into good gains. Moss was being pretty maligned - but he had a GREAT run in the 2nd half, and then a pretty big 3rd down conversion. Cook looked great, both running & catching passes. Today was the guy I expected when we drafted him. It would be good if we could get more of a running game actually going, consistently. I think we have the talent to do it. A lot will come down to the blocking schemes, but I thought all 3 guys gave a great effort today and showed some skills.
  3. This ain't the Jags game from last year. Just a hard-fought division battle, against a good team at their place, in tough conditions. And that team was desperate to finally beat the Bills. This game represents nothing to me aside from a loss. Hopefully most of the injuries are short term.
  4. From the 1 yard line - that was a GREAT drive. TOP is heavily in favor of the Bills right now. No small thing on a day like today.
  5. Bummer that Tua looks like he's going to be out - but no excuses now. Tie game, 2nd stringer at QB. Bridgewater can play, but we've gotta win this game.
  6. Thanks; I kind of missed that on the 1st view. It really was just a broken play.
  7. People wonder what's going to derail the season? Cuteness.
  8. Yeah - I'm all in on the Ravens. Logically, I should want the Pats. They're not a threat to the division title, and the Ravens could challenge for one of the top seeds in the AFC. But I want NE in last place from now until at least a time when we're able to travel to the stars.
  9. Miami is missing players too - but we're missing more. If we pull out the win at their place w/ so many key players out, it's hard to see any team stopping us this year.
  10. I hate to bring up his name here - but Belichick has set the blueprint on this stuff. You let players walk before they start to decline.
  11. Maybe a wishful take - but I think a lot of our pass coverage comes down to coaching & scheme more than personnel. Most players seem to thrive in this system. If these guys all perform well, it will say a lot about our staff.
  12. Embrace adversity.
  13. NOBODY PANIC!!!!! You all friggin' hear me?!!! Just STAY CALM!!!!! It's all GOING TO BE FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Saturdays.
  15. Well, Pats fans sure aren't disappointing on the general sports boards. How do you win 6 championships and still manage to be bitter & petty all the time?
  16. Anyone watch that game last week - or see the highlights? Hill and Waddle were ridiculously wide open on so many plays. Tua actually had some pretty bad throws to them - they had to either slow down or adjust.
  17. I was wondering about Neal also. I'm all fuzzy today, but I thought he was our backup safety previously (though he's on the CB depth chart this year).
  18. Thanks - completely forgot about Lewis....
  19. Apologies if this isn't worth a 2nd thread, but w/ the Hyde news, I was curious what everyone's thoughts were on this. When Tre gets back, we'll be very deep at corner. I don't know enough about the game to guess on this, but is there a chance they try to convert one of the CB's to safety for the remainder of the season? Or do you think they'll look at either picking up a vet (not sure whose out there), either pulling someone out of retirement or making a trade?
  20. Get well soon. Not great news, obviously - but that's the NFL. This is what depth is all about.
  21. I kind of forgot how football season is. I just want it to be Sunday, all the time.
  22. I'm bullish on Groot. I agree w/ Von - I see Groot as this team's Bruce Smith in the long run. Fight me.
