If I was a Patriots fan, I would have been upset about the officiating last night. They missed on both sides, but it seemed like more of the game-changing misses were in the Vikes favor. I appreciate you trying to downplay New England's chances on Thursday, but it should be a hard-fought game. Belichick, at home - never easy.

I feel like I'm in bizzarro universe reading their boards. Many are convinced that the league has it rigged against them. Like, were their fans around for the past 20 years? Starting w/ the tuck rule, and all of the Bills games in that time? I remember defenders getting 15 yards for just getting close to Brady. I remember one Pats game where the Bills had 3 PI's at or near the endzone called against them, all ticky tack or phantom. It was impossible playing that team on a level field. Well, it has all come home to roost. They actually see the Bills as the "darlings" who get all of the calls now. Here's hoping we win next week on a bogus call or 2.

I still see Jones as fool's gold. He can throw well w/ an immaculate pocket - and even then, most of his throws are dump-offs that often go for big gains. Get pressure on him, and his quality of play worsens noticeably. That's not a big revelation - most QB's don't play as well under pressure. But Jones can't move very well, and always seems to hang onto the ball a bit too long.

Pats fans online complaining about officiating. It's kind of wonderful. Jones probably had his best game as a pro - but he's still not quite there w/ putting it all together for a complete game. Terrible decisions in the 4th quarter. I was SO conflicted on that play. Same. But in the end, I was glad they missed it.

It would be a good time for a long Vikes drive that ends w/ a TD or FG, and leaves just 2-3 minutes on the clock. They must have one of those in their back pocket.

The Pats D is a good one - but they looked better than they actually are against the Colts backup and Wilson.
-
Well, Jefferson's game against us certainly wasn't a fluke. That guys is somethin' else.
-
About 1,000 more bad calls, and the rest of the league will be even for the past 2 decades.

Rules are rules. Sorry, NE. The Vikes have to get some sort of pressure on Jones. He looks great because he hasn't been hit.
-
I love that Belichick got burned on his "kick off inside the 5 and make a special teams play" strategy.
-
Either that - or the Vikes aren't playing defense.
-
Belichick really keeps this team competitive. I don't think another coach would have them above .500.

I completely feel like every single QB, defense, WR, RB, et al., has their best game against the Bills. And when they face the Patriots, they've decided to take the game off.

That throw to Diggs.

Great Thanksgiving, fellows! I plan to keep drinking - hopefully, we get a Pats L tonight to put a cherry on top.

Whenever we're like, "he doesn't look the same," he pulls this out of his back pocket. No QB in the league I'd rather have.

Josh Allen is an up & down player - but no one can doubt the clutch credentials. He has often played his best when games are on the line. He had no business putting those last 2 drives together w/ the way he played all day. But he just dug deep, and found a way.

You know what? 8-3 is damned good. I'm not so spoiled by expectations that I can't appreciate that.

I didn't see that in the article?

Oliver is a total force out there. I don't know why anyone still questions him. It's one of those things where if he was a 2nd round pick, this fanbase would absolutely love him.

Most reports are that it might just be a sprain.

No style point in the NFL. That was a gutty win, after key players were out due to injury. JA showed why he is STILL JA - bad game, but big when it mattered. I love the Buffalo Bills. I'd marry them if I could.

NFL Week #12 - Bills at the Lions - 2nd half game thread

A 2 score lead. I like dreaming of that.
