  1. Is that 3 in a row against KC now?
  2. Oh, dear. Our "end of game" problem. Let's flip the script. For my sanity, if nothing else.
  3. Nice of us to leave a ton of clock left for KC. Do NOT understand the playcalling, at all.
  4. Allen doing everything he can. No help.
  5. Been awhile since we had a BIG play for a TD. Would love to see a long one here.
  6. We're up 17-14, and are about to have the ball.
  7. Jax can't get out of their own way. They save their best football for the Bills.
  8. Stroud still under 30 yards passing.
  9. When he plays well - which is rare - he really looks like he could be a solid starter. He has some really good skills.
  10. I think one of the 1st posts on this thread has a good rundown - Indy/Cincy is a toss-up (though I'm pulling for Cincy). Otherwise, we want Jax & the Jets right now.
  11. It's going pretty well for us right now. It would help if Lawrence didn't keep throwing picks. That QB class was so overrated.
  12. Jags are a bad team. We shouldn't have lost to them - and they shouldn't make the playoffs ahead of us.
  13. Just thinking about it - is KC our biggest rival right now? It feels that way. The Phins & Bengals are close. But I get more up for this game than any other.
  14. Starting to freak out a bit. It's weird that the playoffs start tomorrow.
  15. That's definitely fair. None of us want to get caught in that "Rivers/Chargers" zone of being solid every year, but never getting that far in the playoffs. I'm really torn on McD, but it will give me some pause if this team rallies now and goes on a run. It's always kind of a work in progress. Reid used to get the same criticism about winning big games in Philly (not saying McD could have a similar transformation, but I haven't ruled it out).
  16. That's sports. No one lays out the red carpet for a title run. A lot of champions have had unpredictable roads to their titles..
  17. It would certainly be an accomplishment if we were able to navigate our remaining schedule - which is the toughest part of our schedule - and make the playoffs. So, yeah.
  18. Our season stories are really action packed. I can't really think of a team that has had more drama the past couple of years.
  19. If we run the table - this will just be a weird story that doesn't matter.
  20. A journalist's purpose should be to report things fairly & accurately. This is a one-sided story. The writer started w/ conclusion, and cherrypicked what he needed to in order to support that conclusion.
  21. Coaches are pretty nutty in general. And we want them to be to an extent - we want them to be obsessive, and live this stuff 24x7, which takes a certain kind of person. If they win, it's all okay. When they don't, it's not. If won a SB the 13 seconds year, and were in line for the 1 seed right now, none of this would be much of a thing.
  22. This year's KC team is so different - and especially now without Pacheco, who was really helping carry that offense. The teams they have had in previous years have been so formidable - the "back to back" losses thing makes more sense w/ those teams. I'm not sure it really applies this year.
  23. I think 10-7 makes it. This season is crazy. Who had Pitt losing to New England yesterday?
