I think Miami is gonna win this. The whole country is like, "it's too cold for them." They may not be as good as advertised over the 1st half of the season - but this is not a soft team. We were lucky to prevail last week. I think they beat this soft, overrated KC team, no matter what the temp.

Houston isn't scary. They're just good. I'd be fine if we matched up w/ them.

The AFC is SO stacked in the QB position compared to the NFC. It's comical.

I've really been giddy since this announcement. It's a whiteout tomorrow. I kept rationalizing that we're still the better team - but it would have been a weird game, where something flukey could have won it. Feels like we're back to having a big advantage. And this is such a good playoffs for us to go on a run.

Man, some of the reactions out there are incredibly low IQ. The Bills, apparently, demanded that the league do this because they were afraid to play in this weather. And the league, of course, rigged the whole thing to favor the Bills, as they "always do." I worry for the future.

Just checking some of the thoughts of Steelers fans online - they're melting down and saying we're scared of their run game because we want to play in better weather. But doesn't that mean that they're scared of our pass game?

I saw a coach interviewed once - can't remember who it was - but he said the actual gameplan isn't some ongoing thing. They usually get it together in a few hours, and spend the rest of the week practicing for it. So, yeah - they get a bit more practice. But they also have to travel. It's not some huge advantage they'll have. And I'll take the trade-off as a fan. The shorter prep time wouldn't mean much if we lost a flukey game tomorrow.

Steelers fans are NOT happy. They know the deal. They needed bad weather to have a chance.

I'm flabbergasted that anyone here thinks this is a bad thing. Aside from it just being safer for fans & players - this just doubled our chances of winning. Tomorrow has potential to be even worse conditions than the Pats wind game. Basically, a game of chance. As for "less rest," it's no different from having a MNF game in the regular season.

Well, if we do get to the SB this year - it will entail overcoming all kinds of adversity. It will serve the team well if they can make it to that game.

That's probably conservative. They might run 90%+. Mac Jones threw 3x in weather like this. It's not like Rudolph is that much better.

With the way this season has gone, and just about every game coming down to a play or 2 - maybe flukey helps us.

Watch us get a fumble-return TD on the 1st play, a 2-point conversion, and just pour it on from there. We'll love Buffalo weather then.

Why doesn't Goodell do a little "experiment" on this one, and try a Monday double-header?

I am. I think this is 100% the game to pull out some wrinkles, and some trick plays. They need to have fun w/ this - not go all turtle.

Anyone remember that playoff game in the waning days of the Kelly years, where we rushed for over 300 yards? They used so many reverses, and then fake reverses once the D was anticipating them. It was genius. I'd love to see that kind of play calling. When you do that kind of misdirection in a game like this, the D has a really challenging time turning on a dime.

I wouldn't care about this. A Monday game would be over 90% that the Bills advance.

I'm ready for anything, and still think the Bills win in crazy weather - but Monday just seems like the easy button for the NFL. Too much risk for people going to the game if the current forecast holds. Fan safety should be the top priority, when there are options to move the game.

Football is an outdoor game. Winning a title is more than just having the best talent on the field. It's adjusting to changing conditions & circumstances, and being able to best your opponent when it comes to gameplanning and strategy. If the Steelers do that better in these conditions, I don't consider it "flukey." It will have meant they adjusted better, and had the better gameplan. I don't think they will. I think Allen's strong arm and superior running ability give us a distinct advantage, and will carry the day. Rudolph is one-dimensional by comparison.

If 34 points are scored in this game - we're winning.

One of our biggest issues all season has been receivers getting separation. This Sunday - they will. Bad footing is so much tougher on DB's, who have to react to where the receiver already knows they're going.

He caught some fire at the end of the season - but wasn't really facing quality defenses the last few games. He has had other stretches of being pretty ineffective. He's basically the only guy on their offense we have to focus on.
