Most BILLSY thing we are about to do to end the season

Chiefs fans actually like that guy. If the Bills had a "national" guy who talked like he does, I'd just be embarrassed. -
Kneel Down Game: Final Nail in McD’s Coach Coffin
Success replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
This Philly game was tough. We didn't dominate the game - but we played better than the Eagles, and led for most of the game. It really just felt like we found a way to lose. Even Eagles fans online seemed shocked by how they pulled it out. -
Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
Success replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we CAN get through the rest of the season with 1 loss. I also wouldn't rule out running the table, but no team can ever count on that. Weird things always happen (and if you're the Bills, they happen more frequently). I agree about the offense, and it's actually a bit painful to see them play like we expected now. It's only 2 games, so too early to make a definitive conclusion - but it seems like Dorsey's O held us back and likely cost us a game or 2. It starts with KC, which seems oddly appropriate. Get the win there, and we can start believing a little. -
Disagree 100% on this one. Pats gave the Eagles & Dolphins fits in the 1st 2 games, and the D has played tough most of the season. But all that aside, it's a division game. Division games can be very unpredictable. Brady owned the Bills, but throughout those years, the Bills played some very hard-fought games against the much more talented Pats teams. The Pats loss bothered me because it was the Pats, but the Bills other 5 losses were all worse.

But, we all know that if they DO go 11-6, they're in. So, there's that.

We're Going To The Playoffs. (edit: Updated - Super Bowl)
Success replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know if we are or aren't. We're as good as any other team - but we also find remarkable ways to lose at times. But it makes no sense for me as a fan to not believe there is at least a good possibility right now, despite all that has happened. I think the board was unanimous that we needed to take 2 of the current set of 3 games - Philly, KC & Dallas. If we can beat KC, I'd feel at least okay about Dallas at home. They can do it. I just don't know if they will. But I'm not thinking about the draft just yet. -
Gonna sign off 'til tomorrow. Just want to say - when the day started, I never imagined I'd feel this gutted at the end of it. I thought we might lose, but once again - it's the way we lost. But I'm really glad to have this board, and even though I don't know any of you in "real" life, this is a great support group, and good therapy. At the end of a trying day, I'm truly appreciative of that. Whatever I'm going through, there are a bunch of people like me going through pretty much the same thing, & they get it.

At this point, it almost doesn't matter if McD has had bad luck, or really does pull defeat from the jaws of victory. It has become ingrained in this team while he is HC. If every one of us fans is thinking "how are we going to mess this up" w/ a few minutes left & a lead, it's a good bet the players have a similar mindset. It continues until we string together a few improbable wins, or have a change at HC.

I mean, that was the game right there. Plenty of blame to go around. But Allen's frustration after that play, and I think Davis threw his helmet on the sideline. Just a lapse at the worst possible time.
-
I like how we're playing, at least. (sigh) Guess there is nothing to do but see how it plays out. If we beat the Chiefs, that's all I wanted out of this stretch - 1 of 2. I'd like our chances against the Cowboys at home. If we can win the next 2, it will change my outlook and a lot of other fans'.. Right now just feels like deja vu all over again. I wish our deja vu was winning classic games, but it ain't that.

They were phenomenal. I was singing their praises the whole game. Makes the loss tougher, honestly.
-
I'm kind of like, sure, I'd still like to make the playoffs. But what are the chances that we can avoid having a small lead we have to protect near the end of the game? Because if we do, I have almost zero faith we can hold it. It's like we'll have to win every game by 2 scores.
-
We're in a lot of "games of the year." Still waiting for one where we come out on top. This doesn't even seem possible. Philly had almost nothing to play for. We're fighting for our playoff lives.

I wish I had your optimism. I used to think I was the most positive guy here. Feel like this game broke me, but maybe I'll be back in the morning..
-
It was pretty obvious. Kind of love him for it, though.
-
Honestly, I'll get downvoted - but I kind of wish this team had moved. This is too effing much. Year after year after year. Sickening.
-
It's a bad sign for the Bills when newcam is giving me positive emojis.

Norwood was a reliable kicker. I don't get that from Bass right now.

Dude, C'mon. McDermott loses every game like this. The Eagles aren't as good as they're record, and we dominated much of that game.. We FOUND A WAY TO LOSE. That's all there is to it. What games like this one has McD won?
-
McDermott has shown us who he is. We should believe him. This is gonna keep happening. Why wouldn't it? What has he done to show us he can come out on the positive side of these games against good teams? He fails when the game is tight. It's predictable, and gets worse as the competition gets more fierce. Which means that we'll likely never make it through the playoffs as long as he's HC.

Man, I'm so tired of feeling sick. I'm so tired of the ridicule. I never felt like I was "soft" as a fan, but this team is beating me down. All hope, no reward.

New to the game.

New to football.

Anyone blaming Allen is brand new to football. Like, today was their 1st day. A QB cannot do more.

If we ever do get a SB win - I'm walking away Not sure if that will ever happen, though.
