And that reason is James Cook. Not because of anything Davis is suddenly not doing. -

You cannot conclude much based on 11 carries. I think people are jumping to conclusions. -

With hoecht out I expected to see him play. Not sure how you cannot at least be a little concerned but at the same time I am going to let it play out this year and next before jumping to conclusions. -

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse

Awkward how? They use them all. Looking at his contract he will likely have to take a pay cut or get released. Can’t have a 17 million cap hit from Knox. If he wants to stay he will have to take a crappy for him extension. -

Would lose? No probably not. Could lose? Definitely. When cooks had that near drop to take the lead you had to know it was possible. -

I mean he had a muff last week but he has been a very solid returner. You might be right that he can be gone because if numbers and he brings nothing to the table other than returns. Don’t understand the trust statement. -

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?

Turnovers are a huge indicator. Purely from a scientific view point correlation does not mean much which is all I was saying. I don’t think anyone will argue turnover differential is not correlated with winning. I agree with your conclusion. -

Just here to say it’s a long season…one loss to the saints or patriots will put that in perspective. Yes we all want the one seed but even that does not accomplish what we all really want, it just makes it easier. The ravens and chiefs could both lose 7 games and you may still have to beat them both in the playoffs even with the one seed. -

Correlation vs causation. Change correlation to cause and see what the answer is. -

To the bolded: Did you see where I wrote "Understood it was not the best offensive performance but it’s not like they were just shut down"? Peak offence is now, not 2021, it is clear we wont see this the same. The reason they want to change is it gives you a better chance to actually win, again repeating myself, it might not be as fun or sexy but it is more effective. Did you know Josh Allen by a wide margin has some of the best playoff stats for passing in terms of TD:INT ratio. You said you care about playoffs over regular season....in the elimination games they offense has not been the problem except the Bengals game. In every one of them the defense has been a problem. -

The game when they ran for 147 yards and three tds while scoring 27 points on a very good defense? Understood it was not the best offensive performance but it’s not like they were just shut down. No turnovers while scoring 27 points is a good formula to win playoff games even though that has not worked vs the chiefs. Playoff wins can be messy. I would ask for examples of great offenses you can list and then go look at playoff logs over years. I contend your assertion the ceiling is just higher with a pass happy approach is not necessarily true. Each game is unique and you need to gameplan vs what they are trying to do against you. It might not be as fun or sexy but it can be an overall better approach to control the game with their approaxh. It’s not like they don’t use Josh Allen, it’s not just power run all the time.
