Should QB Compensation Be Carved Out of the Salary Cap?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
The GM has 3 major hurdles to overcome. The highest level of difficulty from top to bottom. 1. After signing your franchise QB you have to draft well and make little to no mistakes. 2. Draft your franchise QB 3. Sign your franchise QB to a deal that is fair and doesn’t handicap the team. I think The Bean has done 2 and 3 perfectly but is struggling with number 1. -
Would you resign Edmunds or a tackle?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly don’t think Edmunds fits into a lot of other defenses. He is a cover LB that sometimes takes bad angles and shoots the wrong gap. He is a solid tackler but has very little value rushing the QB. He fits a cover 2 style defense that is also in nickel a lot. I wouldn’t pay him over 4 years 47mil for what he brings to the table. -
Never wanted to sign him as a top CB. I have always said he is only a 12 to 15 ranked CB. We way over paid for him.

He doesn’t coach like a chicken *****. Fangio defense brings pressure and drops guys into coverage. Way better then the Cover Poo

What Are Your Expectations For The 2023 Season?
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watching the Bengals game will give you some valuable info on how we improve. When they double Chase watch for Higgins and Mixon to light it up. Watch the push the Cinncy O-Line gets compared to what we see with the Bills O-line. Watch the amazing Bengals play calling and halftime adjustments that actually work. So for me we need a threat opposite Diggs, new C, LG, RT and a RB that is an actual threat like Mixon. If we move Dawkins inside to LG then we need LT,C, Rt -
We have no RB on the roster that is a big enough threat to even attempt play action. I think one of McD’s glaring weaknesses is that he over value’s average players
-
I would say neither, we already have Cook and don’t need 3 RB’s with the same running style. I agree, there are only a hand full of RB’s that I would even entertain taking in the 1st rd. This is one of the few that I would.

Kyle is the easy choice, his play calling, in game and halftime adjustments and play design are light years beyond everyone else

When will we adjust to playoff football
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to wvbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We can barely make half time adjustments in the regular season. Playoff adjusts will happen when I am adopted by Elon Musk. -
I agree with everything except the CMC comment. The 49ers Oline is something that we can only dream to put together. CMC would be struggling to run behind our current group of non road graders

Franchise in trouble- Josh Allen has regressed
Call_Of_Ktulu replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not so much Allen but the offensive coaches on this staff would be sought after by no one. Run game design is horrid and I just don’t see the amazing play calling like when you watch the 49ers or KC play. -
I knew the Bengals were going to take our lunch and slam the locker door on our head after watching the Miami game. No more time needs to be wasted on this very average at best coaching staff.
-
I love Marv but I agree, if the Giants show you that offensive front and you have Thurmanator you just pound it all game. Thurman should’ve had a 240+ yard game and a SB win
-
McD is out coached on a regular basis, his game time play calling and adjustments are very bad. We have arguably the worst group on offensive coaches in the NFL. Best case scenario is Frazer and Dorsey being signed as HC’s. Both will fail miserably as HC’s.
-
This whole staff is crap, we can pray Frazier gets a HC job but I highly doubt it. Sean Peyton would turn this offense into a monster
