  1. He’s 9 games in to his rookie year of being an OC. HC is one hell of a jump. I’d be much more interested next year, but even two seasons as an OC is tough.
  2. Players seem to have a hard time picking it up too. Perhaps it’s the RPOs and option routes?
  3. Bills were at their best when they went up tempo and used the D to try and steal drives.
  4. I think “not passing the eye test” means a very wide array of possibilities. Are we talking an offense that has some punts, maybe even some 3-and-outs but we are still overall productive? Or 3.9 YPC, a few turnovers, and presnap penalties while still speaking out a win.
  5. Dorsey is definitely an elite QB coach, 3 elite level seasons with Cam Newton then 2 elite level seasons with Allen before moving to OC. Allen didn’t hit that elite level until Dorsey came to town. Thats likely the whole reason why Allen wanted him as his OC. Cam also didn’t get to that elite level until Dorsey came, battled injuries though. Cam’s downfall happened the year after all their coaches were fired.
  6. Oh brother, we are bashing a player for talking about goals that were put into his contract? 🤦🏻 I’m 100% sure Ed wants to win, he wants that 500k too! Whats the point of incentives if you can’t reach for them? The arrival of Kincaid like Thor in Endgame will help, hopefully Shakir keeps it up. Allen seems to be gaining confidence in those guys. Healthy Dawson Knox is significantly better than what we saw this year.
  7. This summer is critical for McD, and he’s never hired a top end OC. Dennison and DaBoll had been mediocre historically at best, Dorsey an elite QB coach but next to no play calling experience. I think the rest of the staff is pretty good. He’s got an elite QB, he will have big time options if (when?) Dorsey is canned.
  8. I know nothing, just like the wrest of us, but I wonder if Dorsey went for a job he wasn’t ready for? He’s an elite QB coach, that isn’t disputable. How he taught QBs just hasn’t translated to the rest of the offense yet. Are these 2nd year OC growing pains, or symptoms of hitting the ceiling. Hmm Tyrod was awesome his first season too. Hard to argue against whisky, cigars, and plaid tuxedos though.
  9. Gabe Davis is wild to follow. Game to game, wildly inconsistent and he disappears when we need him the most. Season totals? On pace for 59 - 820 - 9 TDs. He averages 6.5 catches for 91 yards and a TD per game. Thats amazing production for a #2, but he has FIVE games this year where he has less than 35 yards 🤯 He had more than 22 yards once in the last 4 games!
  10. For the downfall of this message board, I feel we hyper focused on the valley’s , and don’t appreciate the peaks. When things are good, reasons not to get too excited are always vomited up like an hairball and thrown around. We are hyper obsessed with the journey, but we only catch the positive “did you see that!?” moments of other teams, so we think other teams don’t go through bad times, other QBs don’t make mistakes, other coaches don’t make poor decisions. Or at least, our problems are always worse, our coaches are worse, are players are worse. I still like our QB, GM, and (gasp) HC. We are in a small transition, but we have a strong foundation.
  11. That means you think any player comparison is stupid. Almost no player has the same variables, but we watched Singletary in this offense for a while. I think Cook’s skill set translates to it better.
  12. This will trigger lots of fans, but I think part of it is Bills fans got entitled. We are coming off a 10, 13, 11, and 13 win season. We witnessed greatness, flat out dominance at times over that run. We spanked big names, in prime time, in their houses on many occasions. Bills were everywhere, Josh’s face is on everything, and we witnessed greatness from the QB position to a level we have never seen. We spent the last 20 years watching Brady, where QB greatness = rings. I think it has become expected. I think the players fell into the same trap. Problem is, any given Sunday isn’t a myth. There are no assumed victory’s. The other problem is other key moves haven’t paid off, making the SB entitlement rather difficult.
  13. Like playing RB. Not sure who’s the better chef?
  14. Sounds like Bills tried “ball control to protect the defense” approach. Let’s see them just unleash, now it the time. High scoring game if we don’t have Bernard, Bills pull it out. 38-31 Bills.
  15. Hijacked into a McDermott thread in 3… 2… 1…
  16. Cook is better than Singletary.
  17. No, we don’t have enough WR depth to trade Gabe.
  18. Wait it was Nick Scott? Same guy Allen choke slammed into oblivion last year? Makes it even better 🤣
  19. I can see a world where he gets two. Statistically his offense is phenomenal. I speculate his issue is teaching that offense.
  20. I feel bad for Zach Moss. Carried that team!
  21. Tre at 16.2m killed us. Jones at 8.5 Milano at 7 Knox at 6.4 (he’ll be back) Elam at 3.1 (he’ll also be back)
  22. You just have to mess with the sliders. The online gaming community ruined it because it’s catered to them. They had to “nerf” certain aspects like defensive coverage due to how easy it would be for players who are good at taking over defensive players and covering either user or AI controlled opposing WRs, and vise versa. The end result for people like me who don’t play online is poor defensive coverage or poor WR play when the AI is taking over. I’m terrible at controlling anyone who doesn’t have the ball in their hand. I legitimately only control the DL when playing, I can’t do any other position to save my life (or it looks super unnatural).
  23. Frazier had his strengths for sure, but IMO the last 2 minutes of a ballgame were not one of them.
  24. I’ve heard Groot is playing with a “significant” foot injury.
