  1. For only using 2 LB, we have a TON. - 29 years old - 8 starts last 2 seasons, 3 last year - Still managed 6 PBUs, a sack, and 4 TFL - QBs only completed 54% (13/24) against him. - Allowed a QB rating of sub 45 - Incredibly productive earlier in his career. - 5 missed tackles last year (12%)
  2. Why would we get rid of Spencer Brown?
  3. Beane does cook in the 5th round!
  4. Bad hamstrings and a heart condition. I think it’s still a long shot for him to have any kind of meaningful role, but he’s talented. Like an above poster mentioned, if he can gun or return kicks he could make it. Otherwise he’s a safe bet for the practice squad. Teams also stopped playing single high against us. Cook should help that return, but taking away Josh’s deep game has been defensive’s priority.
  5. Stevie Johnson and Coleman have randomly shouted him out. Beane and McD have brought him up as well. Every summer we have a darling who spends the year in Buffalo working out, so we will see come TC and more importantly preseason. Could he be the new Isaiah McKenzie?
  6. Whatever we think the Bills will get, raise it a round. I think we learned that the hard way.
  7. I think everyone is totally misinterpreting the term transition. The team is evolving, which is what good teams do. Their offense will look different and their defense will look different. This team can evolve and still be a juggernaut, and that’s what I expect.
  8. I’ll add this here: Joe Marino had a guest on his show who talked about the Coleman pick. He openly admitted he immediately texted Joe “I don’t like this pick for you,” but then studied up Joe Brady’s offense more the following day. That guest, who I don’t believe was a Bills fan, changed his mind after what he saw from what Brady’s style is and said Coleman is a perfect fit.
  9. TBD in the summer time is basically a giant LARP battle
  10. Meh, I get depth purposes but I really don’t think Kincaid is coming off the field much. I wouldn’t be surprised, at all, to see 86 as one of the slot receivers in 4-WR sets. Even 5-wide I can see Cook or Knox being the fifth option.
  11. Shorter was a 5th, Cephus a 5th, Hamler a 2nd, Isabella a 2nd.
  12. Russel Bodine. I don’t think Pats have traded with us since lol The guy to watch at WR4 is Hamlin, but in all reality if we go out with 4-wide and no inline TE, it will likely be Kincaid in one of the slot positions. Even in 5-receiver sets, it’s probably Cook or Knox as the 5th target.
  13. Definitely possible! Samuel will have more opportunities in the backfield as well. Are we all in agreement Kincaid is the top target next year?
  14. For Samuel to have 1000 yards we’d have to have injuries to Kinciad, Shakir, and probably Coleman. He’s definitely capable of having one of those Stevie Johnson or John Brown type “#1 by default” 1000 yard seasons, but man we don’t want that scenario
  15. I think his numbers will average out to that, but he won’t get there. Coleman’s role will increase as the season progresses and Shakir will get targets. I can see him having 1000 all purpose yards, though.
  16. Oh bad players get traded, we have a history of them on both side of that coin haha I wouldn’t hate Zay, but I think at 29 he will hold out for the right opportunity. He offers nothing on special teams, and I doubt he cracks the Big 4 (Kincaid, Samuel, Shakir, Coleman) here. He can go to Pitt and probably be their top guy.
  17. I get it. Both guys are serviceable #2 receiving options who are probably best as a #3 option at this point in their careers. Yea I’m definitely not benching Shakir for Jones.
  18. Agreed. I respect Jones for the career he carved out, but what skill set does he bring that we don’t already have?
  19. If healthy, he could be the new Isaiah McKenzie #2 slot.
  20. Ehh Jones best season he had 82 catches - 823 yards - 5 TDs - 13 drops - 68% catch rate CD best season he had 77 catches - 851 yards - 3 TD - 5 drops - 79% catch rate They are basically the same guy, just different type. High end #3 passing targets who can be serviceable #2 passing targets for a season.
  21. 2 drops in 2020 2 drops in 2021 13 drops in 2022 with an expanded role. 1 drop in 2023 (short season) At 29, we are looking at WR4 and I’d rather let Hollis/Shorter/Hamler compete for it.
  22. The impressive thing is both minicamps are at the same time.
  23. It’s not forced either like some of the guys who drop all the cliche Buffalo catch phrases to get over with the fan base.
