WrestleMania 40-welcome to the Levesque era
TheyCallMeAndy replied to TBBills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Absolutely, I will say the quality of performers has gone through the roof as well. I think they are being given more in-ring creative freedom and it shows. I grew up a wrestling fan, but stoped watching around 2003 for a while. In 2011 or 2012 I got back into it, but man the product was just plain bad. I was more into the behind the scenes and production aspect. Selling to TKO, AEW competition, McMahon getting forced out (twice), and honestly the Roman Reigns Bloodline Saga saved WWE and probably main stream pro wrestling. -
WrestleMania 40-welcome to the Levesque era

He’s the Chief Creative Officer, Shane and Steph are no longer with the company (although Steph is expected back). The TKO board and the CEO really run WWE, but they give Trips freedom who gives the writers and performers freedom. Funny enough, The Rock is a board member. There is still lots of talking, but it’s way more entertaining and it seems they are opening the show lately with really strong promo’s rather than matches. The whole presentation of the shows are just different now, hard to explain but I’m finding less boring periods to skip through. Storylines have been revamped and have much more depth and are intertwining with each other. I think this Era will go down as better than the Attitude Era. -
“Always get distracted by side crap” 4 Episodes in, I really enjoy it.

WrestleMania 40-welcome to the Levesque era

Loved it, I will say since Trips officially took over it’s been great to watch. -
Honestly I think McAconkey fits the offense well, and can play a few different WR spots. Like any WR drafted, he’s probably “target number 5 or 6” but should get plenty of action. How about LG Keaton Bills 👌🏻

Ok, stick to those then?

Not looking at when/where/if it’s a need, just the actual impact.

This isn’t a “who should Bills draft” thread (although it’s what it turned into). It’s a thread that’s supposed to be about what ANY draft prospect would look like on this team and what their role/production would look like, regardless of pick or position. I think he would really fortify the IDL and would see plenty of snaps as a rookie, from both DT spots. We’d see definitely go into next year with him and Oliver the starters. Good pick! Here is one (trigger warning): Johnathan Brooks - RB

Nice try, that’s Mike Tomlin.

No draft rounds in this; just how a prospect would fit on the team. I think Cooper could be potential ROTY in this scheme.
-
Thank you! Robinson, Latu, and Verse: Crazy enough, probably DE3/4 unless Von looks horrible. High potential though and would all still see plenty of snaps in the rotation with opportunities to rush the passer. What does Cooper Dejean look like at Safety?
-
No one? 👎🏻 No one has an opinion on what Troy Franklin or Marvin Harrison would look like on the Bills? Kool-aid McKinstry?
-
There are SO many possibilities in the draft, I thought maybe it would be fun to play a little game to explore the different potential outcomes. - It doesn’t matter if the Bills will realistically be targeting this player or not. - It doesn’t matter if it’s a position of need or not. - It doesn’t matter if this player will be on the board or not. Start off naming 1 prospect. Another poster says how that prospect would impact the roster if drafted by the team (role, stats, depth chart position) After, they’ll name another prospect and another poster will reply in the same fashion. I think this is a good exercise to get us thinking about all the impactful players that could get drafted here, even if it’s not someone we expect. Get creative and weird. I’ll start us off: WR Troy Franklin

Could Elam be packaged in a trade up?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never say never is what we’ve learned this summer -
So the Bills may draft a safety and may like the 2 WRs who should be late first, early second round picks? Groundbreaking lol

He’s played plenty at LG, them looking to trade Brown doesn’t make a ton of sense. Collins being direct competition for Edwards is my bet.

Who is the best #14 in Bills history?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Obviously it’s Diggs, but to vote against Ryan Fitzpatrick is a sin.- 111 replies

Poll: How do we feel about Stefon Diggs the player?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I said other: My opinions haven’t really changed. I think questioning his commitment after week 6 is a totally fair. I think he really believes he made Allen and perhaps misinterpreted his personality or thought process due to Allen’s nature. I think fans blew little things sky high. This trade didn’t happen because some big things, but a whole bunch of medium sized and small things. I don’t think he’s a cancer, just petty and manipulative with borderline gaslighting behaviors. -
The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll say this: I’ve, at times, butted heads with intense/no-nonsense individuals during strenuous periods. It’s not that I’m unfocused, unprofessional, or not a hard worker, or don’t care. Inside my brain, all business and problem solving, but outside is still my happy-go-lucky, goofy vibes. Diggs seems obsessive and anal about his craft, and you can physically see that manifest. Allen is easy going and a goof, so you may not always see physically the same characteristics but that doesn’t mean he cares/focus -
The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?

One amazing aspect that isn’t being talked about: it appears the Buffalo Media kept a LOT of this under wraps, likely knowing that’s how McD likes things done. Truly, that is incredible and rare. -
Still waiting on those contract deets and the base salary!

Does Josh Allen still work as hard in the offseason?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hate this MB sometimes, some of the takes are flat out delusional. I don’t care what Allen is doing in March and April. “Play till you’re 45” and “never shut it off” don’t mix. Let this man relax.
