Not going to lie, I think Ralph was a terrible owner. -

This team is being built like water

2 firsts, 2 seconds, 2 thirds in next years draft. They don't need to tank to get #1 overall. Finish 8-8 and grab your QB. -
Hey gamers, here ishow our beloved Bills are broken down in terms of individual ratings. Ratings Before everyone freaks, EA as a whole lowered ratings across the board over the last few years. Where 95+ was elite and 85+ was pretty average, now low 80's are average and 90's are elite. They really dropped pass defense and OL rating across the board while boosting the athletic ratings for QB's and really dropped the ratings of K/Ps. Outside of Woods (73?!) and Cogs RBL rating, I'd say the roster is very fair. Anyone planning on getting Madden 18? I think I'm sticking with 17 for a long while... the franchise has just been in strong downward spiral that would make Blake Bortles blush. I've always been an offline guy, and unless you're willing to spend hours in the settings/sliders menu the days of fair AI and realistic gameplay is long over. On a side note, I've always found adjusting the ratings week in and week out to be rather fun, and I've always enjoyed creating the rookies. If anyone who is sticking with 17 is interested, I may start uploading my rosters. I'd say the Bills are EXTREMELY updated and fair, and many of the offseason roster moves from around the NFL are updated. Some teams even have other rookies (Mostly 8-10 top prospects).

Could Ragland be surprise cut of 2017?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4 days in to his second training camp after missing a year? Seems like a rational thought. -
Interesting quote from our DC in article by CB on who will be the starting LB's. Always figured whoever loses at MLB will split time with Alexander at SAM. I always felt Preston Brown was a decent LB, and seems like fans have written off how good Reggie Ragland can be in any scheme. With Hodges in the mix, this should be a fun summer.

Who is your surprise cut?

I don't want it to happen! Hopefully he picks the Defense up. -
When this season is all said and done, who will be the: Team MVP: Offensive breakout star: Defensive breakout star: Special teams breakout star: Most improved: Most declined: Rookie of the year: Best 2017 Free Agent: Worst 2017 Free Agent: Bounce Back Player: (Guy who had a bad 2016) "You still got it": Bonus: Who sets a single season Bills record OR what Bills Season record is broken as a team?

Ready for this? Hodges Jr, he still hasn't beaten out Humber, haven't heard of him running with the first team at all. I can see one of the CB's like Wright or Charles or Corey Brown. Schmitty wouldn't be a huge shocker, we got the #1 punter in the draft. -
To be fair, McD has gotten into plenty of brawls https://youtu.be/_V-rCP-UeeY

LB Gerald Hodges visiting-Edit: SIGNED!
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It truly cracks me up that Ragland is considered "overweight," "nonathletic," and "lazy" for zero reason at all. Last year a picture at some college game where he was at the coin flip made him look fat, and the whiners/bashers ran with it and he's been complained about ever since. At the combine, his "hand held" 40 time was 4.62, while the "electronic" 40 time was 4.72, Either is plenty fast for a MLB. -

Funny thing is he ran a 4.78, that's pretty slow for a WLB -
Expectations for Shaq Lawson?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to NickelCity's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shaq a great addition, hope the fans haven't written him off. I think 8 sacks and a handful of tackles for loss is fair. Dude was a dominant college DE who Rex put at OLB. His first sack was on Tom Brady. Healthy, scheme that fits him, position that he's dominate at, and real NFL coaches. -
Not sure Darby actually fits this system?
TheyCallMeAndy replied to ajmac's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I always laugh when fans think a player can't excell in multiple schemes. Goodness, how many has Dareus been a beast in? All of them? Shaq Lawson will be a great 43 LE, like how he was projected coming out of college. Ragland is athletic and will be fine as a MIKE or, if need be, a SAM. Hell, he can probably play WILL in a pintch. These are professional athletes on our Defense who now have decent coaches. Brandon Spikes could probably find a small role to be successful in (34 OLB wasn't one, how crazy...) -

Panthers cut S Tre Boston; appears to be off to LA
TheyCallMeAndy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thing about Byrd is he was never considered overly athetic in terms of speed and agility, and today's NFL is built around speed. If he has lost a step, he may go unsigned into the season. -

Kid had 2 picks, 2 sacks, 3 stuffs, and 7 pass breakups this past season. No doubts he wins the #1 FS gig. Makes me think of Da'Norris Searcy. Ok when it comes to pass coverage, just don't let him go 1-on-1 with a WR. Will be a benefit in the run game. Boston has superior athleticism than Searcy, giving him more potential and a higher ceiling. -

He's 205 pounds, known as more of a physical guy. You wonder if he can gain 10-15 pounds and be that hybrid SS/WLB.
