People may not see Fournette as being elite, but he's an above average 3-down RB. Given the opportunity, he'd be a top 5ish back and Joe Mixon was just in the Super Bowl. The Bills *can win without an elite RB. My argument is that it can happen far easier with than without.

Injuries are definitely a concern. Guy had a rough break with ACL tears in back to back years, but he had a strong showing in 2021. I don't think the door is closed with Chiefs. Guys like him just have a longer wait than others. I figured Fournette would have been under contract (agreement) by now, but we're only 3 days in. I don't dislike JD, but I also don’t think there's anything he does better than Jerick other than getting more opportunities. Speed is the obvious leg up McKinnon has.

I really like the fit of Jerick McKinnon, if Beane wants a lesser expensive option at RB. He's better than McKissic.

I could take this conversation numerous places, but I don't want to derail the thread. All of the sexual predators the league has had, hell this country has had in VERY high places, but we're drawing the line at Watson? This is where my problem lies. He wasn't brought up on criminal charges. If the people want to shun him, that's their prerogative, but that's also their own struggle.

Leading up to today, more than a few posters were hoping Watson got traded away from the AFC to an NFC team. Now that the Browns have him, it's an awful trade and Watson is a noodle-armed bum. Gotta love NFL fans.

I always caution about fans expecting success carryover from previous years. The NFL is not linear. Whoever gets out of the AFC this year will have earned it ten-fold.
