  1. Gut tells me McDermott has a Bill Cowher/Steelers length rope with the Bills.
  2. That is, until they sign Allen Robinson and Leonard Fournette. With Pitts, offensively that's a good team.
  3. Everyone loves offense, but Donald really took over that game.
  4. Don't even really care about the details. We finally have a quality pass rusher again.
  5. I'm not relying on a rookie WR to come in and produce right off the bat. This team is ready to win now. No panic button, just pointing out the obvious.
  6. Huh? There's no depth at the skill positions. Smart people prepare for the worst.
  7. He's leaning on Josh quite a bit as well. Heaven forbid Diggs goes down, what's this offense going to look like?
  8. If we're being realistic, there comes a point where money overrides winning. He already has a Super Bowl ring.
  9. Or maybe he didn't want to be a healthy scratch for half the season in favor of Moss.
  10. Good for him. It's hard to uproot, especially if you have family that is settled in and like the area. Now go do it right and sign Jerick McKinnon, please and thank you.
  11. I love the petty. How's it feel, Baker?
  12. Better than Kamara, Michael Thomas and a couple of budding guys in Humphrey and Callaway? I'd much rather be in NO than Cleveland.
  13. If they were going to go this route, I really wish they'd have gone with Jerick McKinnon.
  14. Even before free agency they were my pick to be the next great team in the mix. Herbert in year 3, I'm expecting a sizeable leap with another year of Ekeler, Allen and Williams. Now with that defense...(on paper, at least)
  15. DJ Chark. He must not want to return to Jacksonville. Healthy, I'd take him over Kirk.
  16. This is one of those scenarios where I totally get going after the money. Future career prospects be damned... Sometimes life throws you a fat softball. Congrats to that man and his family. Who, in their right mind, would turn it down? He'll be 29 at the end of this contract, free to chase a ring if he so chooses.
  17. Very smart, Mitch. You have all the weapons you need in that offense.
  18. At age 29, this is his best shot at a huge contract. 100% the right decision.
  19. He's not a world beater, but he isn't a bad QB either. What was the alternative for Minnesota. 4,000 yard 30 TD QBs don't grow on trees.
  20. For starters, Wilson and Brady are definitely tier 1. Watson would be as well. Lamar is in the fringe tier with Stafford, Herbert and Burrow. Then comes Dak, Cousins and everyone else. Mine is far from exact, but I can see it in my head, if that makes sense? Lumping Stafford with Dak after the Super Bowl victory is disrespectful. Dak has had some talented rosters that he's done nothing with.
  21. 5 years is a bit long, but a bird in the hand...especially on a team with a QB and system he's comfortable with. I totally get not wanting to take the risk.
  22. 49ers are a damn good team. Cousins hits Sanders down the seam in that pivotal Super Bowl miss.
  23. That's the entire tier of QBs below the elite ones. They need that extra something, whether it be a playmaker on offense (like a Deebo) or a stout defense to win a chip. They aren't going to carry you there.
  24. Inconsistent as Cousins may be, Carr is worse. I think Cousins could get a team like the 49ers over the hump, where Garoppolo cannot.
