I personally only buy throwbacks now. Wasted WAY too much money on players that made quick departures. Losman, Fitz, Dareus, Alonzo, Watkins, Edwards to name a few. If the kid looks like he'll be here awhile I will def consider the #17

They traded away a few picks, a WR that couldn't stay on the field and who they weren’t going to sign anyway, a DT who quit when he got paid, an injury prone LT and Tyrod Taylor. In return they may finally have gotten a potential franchise QB, a potential franchise LB, what looks to be an elite CB and a TON of cap space. But nah, they have no clue what they're doing. Another poster referenced this too and I couldn't agree more with what hey have accomplished to this point

AJ is younger and no one knows what he brings to the field. I would rather keep the picks if they cant get their guy and stick with AJ, Peterman and maybe a later round QB. They reached for Manuel, they cant do that again. Foles had a decent season and a good playoff run, I wouldn't make him out to be more than he is. This is a guy who was planning on retiring before going back to the Eagles, and who knows, if he gets traded to Buffalo he may pull the plug in a year. We really don't need another Kyle Orton situation? Speculation of course but I just don't feel like he's "the guy".
