  1. You could add Jim Plunkett, Dan Fouts, Troy Aikman and Drew Bledsoe.
  2. Your post is much appreciated. And Schein shows once again that he's one of a very few NFL commentators who takes the time to intimately know the teams instead of.just regurgitating the same old same old like most of them do.
  3. This off season and this next season has to be all about the quick, short timing passes. If he gets that part of his game going, the kid will be unstoppable.
  4. No no no no! No TE at 9. OL or, just maybe, LB. But not a TE.
  5. Before there was Bruce Smith, there was Tom Sestak, and before there was OJ, there was Cookie, perhaps the greatest football player of all time.
  6. After all the FA signings, the most glaring area of need is LB. I believe they'll draft at least two. No one here seems to be picking any.
  7. Seriously doubt it. But... Who knows?
  8. Who are the top 4, most elite WRs and do amy of them play for the top 4 NFL teams?
  9. A superstar WR is a waste of money if your QB can't get him the ball because he's running for his life because the line sucks, and if you do not have credible running game because your line sucks, and your TE has to be used for blocking because your line sucks. Job One this year is rebuilding the OL, starting with a center. Everything else is foolishness.
  10. Barr is a three down LB who is great against the run and in pass coverage. He is at his best on the outside and was mis-used last year by the Vikes. He is exactly the kind of smart, tough and flexible player McD covets. And he's what? 26? But as much as I'd love to see him here, I seriously doubt the Bills are in the running for his services. If the Chargers, Rams, Hawks, Cards or even the Raiders make a serious run at him, I believe that's where he'll go.
  11. IF (the big if) he's fully recovered and returned to form, he'll be long gone before the Bills turn their attention to the RB position. But if he's there when they do, I would have no problem whatsoever drafting him.
  12. Very narrow list. For me, the best coach the Bills ever had was Lou Saban.
  13. McD was trying to show he's not a blinkered D guy but that he understands and is committed to offense. Regrettably, using 21 points as his marker suggests he really isn't deeply into the nuts and bolts of the offense as he claims.
