  1. He’s a pretty lucky guy. He’s got all of the Lollipop Guild to back him up if he has any contract disputes.
  2. Bartokomous! Marrone is the angriest. That congratulatory message from Belichick confused the crap outta him.
  3. I admit to liking Pizza Hut on occasion. Something about the golden crust. Ranch?! No bueno senor. No bueno.
  4. Bocce Club. La Nova. Zahz. Eaten all three and each proved Mongo wrong.
  5. I think that Dalvin would probably be best served as a running back. I’m not sure he’s qualified to coordinate anything.
  6. Well, he was sacked 28 times last year, but he’s not exactly a mobile qb, so take from that what you will.
  7. I liked Lone Survivor. That is all.
  8. I have a colleague who is currently on site in Vegas with her husband who is a strength and conditioning coach for an NFL team ( she has pointedly asked me not to refer to him, so I respect that) She says that it’s just an autograph show and a good time for all the players to connect and have fun. She wishes it was back in Hawaii, but other than that it’s pretty much pointless for anybody except the players.
  9. All you had to say was “Jackson Mahomes” and the debate was over…
  10. Roughriders? If we’re going that way, how about the Washington Magnums?!
  11. In reading this New York Times article, I can see that there are no expectations for me here. I made a great choice…
  12. All the most successful coaches have great D coordinators, you know what I’m saying?
  13. Glad you aren’t the GM. Mongo definitely isn’t a starter, but he is the kind of guy that you won’t complain about having on your bench for depth and for culture.
  14. I completely understand the Wyatt teller reference, and I can see why you would bring up Quinton Spain, but Quinton Spain is not the reason that the Bengals are in the Super Bowl. He definitely could’ve been one of the reasons they weren’t though. That offensive line is horrendous. 9 sacks versus Vegas?!!
  15. As Pangea will be very close to reforming, I predict that the Bills will open at the Moscow Mule’s. It will be a tightly contested contest, but the Buffalo robots will overcome the Russian ones.
  16. Yeah. Why don’t we just go with the person who provides the most insight as a commentator? I’m going with Tony Romo. I think there’s a bit more to being an offensive coordinator than you think. Nobody just comes off the field and becomes an offensive coordinator. they go through many stages of coaching
  17. Like most of you, growing up Michigan was a college powerhouse. They had the Fab five in basketball and were always in the mix for national titles in football. How the mighty have fallen. That program is in shambles. Ann Arbor is a really pretty town and I’ve had a few good visits there. Playing basketball at the Crisler Arena/Center was one of my better memories. It continues to be a good scholastic program, but I’m not sure how long it will take for their athletics programs to return to prominence, if ever. Their leadership completely blew it.
  18. I think he just prefers khaki cargo shorts to the pants. Miami gives him a greater opportunity for wearing khaki cargo shorts year-round. When coupled with a sweet pair of new balance shoes, he is going to redefine dad fashion god.
  19. Sucks for Minnesota. The fans there deserve better than being turned down for a crappy football town like Miami. Hopefully they get a better coach.
  20. My condolences for your loss. I wish that his last game wasn’t last weeks. I can guarantee you that he deserved better.
  21. I liked how he united the team, and he showed to be a high-quality individual. But, with all of the money that that team is making and what they’re worth, they need to see some higher level results. I don’t think he was ever going to deliver that. you need a new voice and a new philosophy in that locker room. Lucky for everyone else in the AFC, that voice is Josh McDaniels, who has had a history of failure in that very same division.
  22. Golf. Not so strenuous on the body. Messes the ***** outta my mind though.
  23. He won’t retire, he just “won’t work here anymore”
  24. I think that may be the most obvious statement I’ve ever read here. Thank you for your insight.
  25. That’s how many carries he will get in the first game, then his legs will implode and that problem will be solved. No legs. No running.
