  1. Give that man the game ball.
  2. I think every year there’s a guy this board falls in love with for no reason other than we want to see someone who nobody expected to make a dent do something great. Jasper, Reilly, etc. Duke was one of this boards happiest signings and I was pulling so hard this year for the dude. He was on a practice squad a few days ago, and he may damn well have just won this game for us. Welcome to the 53 Duke- we’ve been waiting for you.
  3. 7 days ago this guy was on the practice squad waiting for his chance. He earned it. Duke - welcome officially to the NFL. That’s how you do it. This should put to bed any doubt about his spot on the 53.
  4. Can you stream a radio broadcast? Idk if that’s even something that’s offered but maybe that is an option?
  5. To crush their enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women? I mean, that would simply by MY goal.
  6. Hell no I haven’t. Josh technically hasn’t even had a seasons worth of games under him as a starter. He’s going to make boneheaded mistakes. He’s going to throw when he shouldn’t. He’s going to learn from the mistakes. I’d rather he get them out of the way now so that in the latter part of the season he gets things going. He played the NFL’s best coach- a defensive coach who is the best at what he does (sadly), and he got some shell shock. Then he came out and punched them in the mouth and scored the first TD they’ve surrendered since 2018. the player I compare him to at this time would probably be Eli Manning- he’s going to make boneheaded decisions and sometimes might lose you a game, but when he turns it on he’s going to put the team on his back and get the job done. It may not be pretty, but if he gets wins that’s what matters most to the franchise. You can’t abandon hope when the kid hasn’t even hit a full season of play. That happened to EJ and he had nowhere near the physical tools Allen has. Let him grow.
  7. I don’t think anyone expected us to be this close. Our defense is absolutely amazing. Josh is a Q4 beast and we just need him to get out of his own way and win. Nobody is going to care about the INTs if we win. Just get it, and send these bastards home with their first loss since 2018.
  8. Q4 is here Josh. Time to get another comeback under your belt. Do it against the best and the mistakes won’t matter. Get the W
  9. Makes it even more ironic... or maybe not given their history
  10. https://deadspin.com/sean-mcdermott-had-to-chase-bill-belichicks-son-off-the-1838595504 pats doing pats thing as usual
  11. I was cautiously optimistic, although I was in the process of moving into a hotel with my wife and kids since our house flooded so my mood was a bit sour. I sat in a hotel lobby as they made the pick and was sitting with a few businessmen who were watching as well. One guy laughed, the other two said they wished he went to NY. I sat in silence, said “alright then” and ventured back to my room. I missed the trade up after that entirely lol.
  12. Maybe letting Oliver take it easy so he’s ready to bury Brady this week? ?‍♂️
  13. I’m good with that if we get 51 Win however we can. I don’t care if we are #1 in anything except wins by the end of the year ?
  14. “Hello, Kyle? It’s Sean. Got any plans the next few Sundays?”
  15. “Hey Eli? It’s Mike Tomlin...”
  16. Sure. Let’s sign him. Then when he comes into the Locke room all of his stuff is sitting in a big trash can with a picture of Josh winking at him
  17. Mostly agree. Sure, he lost a step but when he has 3 of his top targets out he can only do so much.
  18. We ended Favre because of a physical injury, and we ended Eli by breaking his spirit I feel bad, but that’s the game.
  19. Per ESPN, Dan is getting the start week 3
  20. Let’s break this down: 1. Be a talented loudmouth who can cause locker room drama 2. Get paid by the team you despise 3. Act like a buffoon and try crazy antics to get in trouble 4. Fail 5. Pick a fight with an authority figure (use a term like “cracker” for best results) 6. Ask to be traded / released. 7. Somehow find a way on the Pats Jalens been reading Antonio’s diary...
  21. Per ESPN- he’s getting elbow surgery and he will be done for the year
  22. The Colts at least got one championship in that time. I’ll take that for a start
  23. Observations this half: 1. Allen seems to have shaken most of the rust off from week 1. He’s poised, accurate, and has thrown the ball away when necessary. Excellent decision making thus far. 2. We are carving them up through the air, and yet all 3 scores have been runs. I expect next half to have one in the air, but great job offensively on getting the plays made when needed. Great job on third down overall. 3. Love Cody Ford going to bat for his QB. Don’t mind the penalty here and I would expect most of the O-line to be there for him- Cody just took initiative. That should’ve been roughing the passer. 4. Oliver is as advertised and I can’t believe he was there at 9. One of my favorite draft picks ever based on potential. He’s going to be the cornerstone of this defense in 2 years (if not sooner) 5. Defense shrugged off the early breakdown and have been solid ever since. We’ve got a great squad and I’m going to love being underrated all year and surprising our opponents. 6. Would like to see singletary getting more involved- but props to him on TD1. Awesome job. I think by week 10 we see him as the predominant runner for this offense
