  1. Keenum is an interesting option, but I agree that he’d demand too much. If he wanted half that I would consider it... but given the market I don’t see him having as much demand this year.
  2. I don’t mind Barkley but there are so many revolving pieces this year regarding FA QB’s that deserve a quick look. Likely available: Manning- will Def want to start someplace though or just retire if he can’t compete Mariota- probably going someplace he can compete to start Dalton - will want out from Cincy, may be ok as a backup Bridgewater - while well liked in NO, I could see them moving away possibly because of Taysom Hill doing a little bit of everything Likely staying put: Brady - wants to pad those stats and Kraft likes his mouth kisses Brees - Wants to keep Brady at bay statswise and looks a lot better then Tommy Boy. Deserves another shot if he wants it Tannehill - especially if they advance any further in the playoffs Winston - one more year to keep the offensive production up and hopefully reduce the turnovers. Rivers - Re-sign or retire. Not uprooting his 100 kids to play anywhere else Prescott- he signs in Dallas and gets way overpaid. If for whatever reason he goes anywhere else he goes as a starter for sure because of his garbage time stats. Cut or Trade options: Newton- missed a season and a new regime. Carr- Maybe Gruden wants his own guy after a few years of Carr Trubisky - couldn’t get it done in Chicago. Flacco- likely wants out of the Broncos crap show realistically there are 8 higher profile QBs who are possibly looking for a new home if you don’t count the likely candidates who stay put. There are higher quality options now more than ever. Now, most teams could use a solid backup or would entertain the thought, but what teams need it most? Bears- Absolutely. Whether to lead the way for a few years or hold the line while a new QBS gets drafted, they’re adding someone to relieve Trubisky ASAP. Colts - I think they bring in competition for Brissett honestly. He’s not bad but there could be a possible upgrade / competition out there Cincy- probably bring a Vet while acclimating their #1 draft pick. Raiders- competition for Carr seems likely. They’ll have to beat Peterman though, so good luck with that lol Redskins- Vet presence you compete, groom, or take pressure of Haskins. New regime. Giants- need a new backup with Manning gone Likely to draft one: Cincy Pats Miami Chargers Chicago(?) NO(?) Here’s my predictions: 1. Everyone in my “Staying Put” category is back for at least one more year and won’t see a major change at this time 2. Mariota goes to Chicago and starts 3. Manning decides to retire 4. Bridgewater to Washington- competes and maybe starts 5. Dalton may come here to Buffalo, as he is a folk hero lol. Could also go to the Giants 6. Newton gets cut or possibly traded. Ends up in Indy or Vegas 7. Flacco to Cincy for 2 years to train up the LSU QB when he is drafted. 8. Trubisky goes someplace as a backup... maybe Tennessee since they lose Mariota or the loser between Indy/Vegas for Newton. 9. Chargers draft a QB of the future, Tyrod stays QB2 behind Rivers 10. Miami tanked, gets Tua. He sits behind Fitz for a year 11. Chicago drafts a QB but either day 2 or trades up for one 12. New Orleans May start planning for the future, but I don’t know if they draft one this year. Likely would be able to attract a high profile QB FA next year when Brees hangs them up after the 2020 season. 13. NE drafts a day 2 QB that Tommy instantly hates and probably tries to kiss on the mouth *WHEW* I think I covered everyone...
  3. I didn’t lock Spain since he is a FA but I would not be mad with bringing him back personally. Our OL had some many revolving parts but my short term memory can’t draw up an instance where I thought Spain blew his assignment
  4. I forgot to add them- break ended at work and I hit submit before I looked that over lol. Gonna update my list ASAP
  5. With the season at an end, now we need to look towards next season and upgrading certain positions. Of our starters, who are the most secure with their positions on offense? Here are my “safe bets” : QB Josh Allen RB Devin Singletary TE Knox LT Dawkins C Morse G Feliciano WR Brown WR Beasley I think anyone else could be shifted around (ex. RT Ford moving to Guard) or lose their spot altogether. Any others you think should be 100% “the guy” next year? *Edited to add Brown and Beasley
  6. About to mute the game (surprised I made it this far). These announcers are complete morons and if they loved on the Texans any harder they wouldn’t be able to speak all that clearly.
  7. Good for him! I liked Marshawn a lot, and he should have been a Super Bowl MVP. I wish them luck unless they play the Bills- then I hope Marshawn turns into Weak Mode.
  8. PLAY FEARLESS. This has been a tough game, and a great challenge honestly. Never expected it to be pretty. Offensively we have played like crap, but if you spend enough time polishing you can make a turd shine. Keep it moving!
  9. I wouldn’t be surprised if he and McDermott have each other on speed dial should we need some depth/injury coverage in the DL for the postseason. He still looks like he’s ready to play tomorrow if the call came in. if we needed him desperately, he answers that call 100% of the time.
  10. All heart- all awesome. Josh- you’re an absolute monster!
  11. This was fantastic. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
  12. Don’t forget the white on white combo - still think it’s as good as the blue on white.
  13. Based on their play this season I’d have to say White, Brown, and Milano have been exemplary. I could also see Hyde and Poyer in the mix as well. I’d love Josh to join that list but he has tough competition between Jackson, Watson, and Mahomes. I think even Brady would get the nod before Josh just because of who he is. my Hope is they get the nomination and then have to decline to play in (and win) the SB
  14. We may need to consider signing some of these guys to extensions or new contracts soon. I definitely think we should like Feliciano up for another 2 years after next year as long as he stays productive. I wouldn’t mind seeing Spain back another year as well based on this season. Is there anyone we need to target next year in FA that comes to mind as an immediate upgrade to the principal staters we have? I honestly can’t think of any that stand out as “must sign” players unlike last year with Morse.
  15. In the same way Brock Osweiler is
  16. This game felt really good to watch from an offensive standpoint. Still not perfect but absolutely a great team effort. Singletary did well except the fumbles, Josh made plays all day, Brown looked fantastic, got the TEs involved a few times, and Beasley showed up as well. O-Line kept Josh on his feet. if this offense shows up each week we are contenders.
  17. I love how the announcers literally just said “McDermott told Allen to not let the position define him, but he should define the position. Maybe playing careful took a little of that fire away” and he gets the TD
  18. THANK YOU. I won’t come on the boards after a loss for a few days until all the doom & gloom posts get stale. I know we have areas we can improve, and we won’t win every single game, but all that matters is we win when we can, however we can, and enjoy the ride. No team is invincible - all we need to focus on is being the better team one Sunday at a time. We haven’t been this good (or lucky if you want to go that route) in a long time. Trust the dang process and let the team grow week to week.
  19. Pitter Patter OBD.
  20. I miss Jauron and his dry, monotone pressers... j/k. While I’m glad we don’t have to hear that anymore I’d take it over Rex opening his mouth for anything hahaha
  21. And yet our record is 5-1. I’m not worried at all about it. If we win the SB and Josh doesn’t hit 300 will anyone care?
