A great QB is of course required but a great Coach is also required if you are going to win as much as they did. Right now he could be the greatest coach in all of football but a mac jones led team aint getting it done. For the 'dynasty' type stuff you need both, great QB and coach. For a flash-in-the-pan Superbowl you probably just need 1 or the other.

Tyler dunne said everything that needed to be said about Mcdermott. What a lot of players themselves have probably been thinking but couldnt speak it. Was it a hit piece? Yes. Did it go too far in attacking McDs character as a person? Yes. Was it necessary? I think so yes. First of all, it let mcdermott read/hear about his shortcomings -- it WILL make him self reflect. Some of the stuff may have been outlandish but a lot of it was quiet salient. Second, it probably relieved some players from feeling like its been their fault (Josh Allen, McD has low key been sliding a lot of blame his way durring pressers). I know josh allen probably agree with at least half of what he read in the article. But now he doesnt have to say it. Tyler dunne did. McDermott can reflect on it now. Third, it bring team together as they will rally behind their coach -- and hopefully their coach will take SOME THINGS from the article to heart and, in turn, be better for his players moving forward. To be honest i saw it on Sunday. McD was a little more aggressive and had a little more faith in his QB. I hope that trend continues for Sean.

I mean he tore his ACL guys its a 1 year recovery he basically just now getting back its a bit early to judge if he is "done" as a football player. We'll find out next season.

Bills have a remarkably good chance of catching dolphins now that dolphins lost to tenneessee. We just need MIA to lose only 1 of DAL/BAL matchups which seems highly likely. Then of course we need to win our DAL matchup. If we lose our DAL matchup we would need MIA to drop both of those games which is still a possibility. If bills only lose 1 more game we have a > 60% chance to make playoffs, regardless of division.

Seems hard to imagine they let bill go on the precipice of a #1 overall pick. At the same time, it's sort of the best-time to 'reset' so the new coach can build with a new QB. I just feel like Bill hasnt' been given a fair shake since Brady left because they literally have mac jones at the helm.

What the heck are you talking about? I'll have what he is having.... there is absolutely zero, and I mean this with all sincerity, ZERO PERCENT chance that this team 'moves on' from Josh Allen in order to keep McDermott.

The issue with this response as others have already stated is that he keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over and over again. If I have to watch his soft conservative defense play 10 yards off the receivers to the ruin of another josh epic performance I may just stop watching the games all together.

This organization is insane at this point.

He low key gloated about his defense which was pretty awful in the end when we needed it most. Thats twice now josh has taken lead in final 2 minutes against bad teams and our defense gives it up. Almost 3 times considering tyrod taylor was on our 1 yard line and we got lucky no ref flag.

Feels like no chance we beat the jets honestly. After hearing mcDs presser id be surprised if anyone on offense even wants to play for the guy he sucks.

Its our offensive line mostly. Our blocking schemes for the running game are awful and our linemen are basically mid to bottom tier.

Levy clears mcdermott and its not even close. But objectively they have both been failures falling short of the ultimate goal.
