  1. I agree with you on quite a few of your opinions on liking vs disliking but i think the above you may be a little incorrect on just due to the fact that young people are already doing it. They are already on one platform and completely consolidated from the perspective of your cell phone operating system. That is the mental shift of the younger generation. It takes as many clicks on a tv remote to change channels or on demand as it does on a cell phone to swap between apps and cast, and that is what they are/have grown up doing comparatively . That is why it is going to be a generational thing. You and I grew up with the old way so that seems like the "correct" way. Younger people today have no problem making 3 touches on a screen to change to another app and cast. It is akin to our parents generation could not fathom not having cash or a check book on them at all times. I can't even remember the last time I had cash in my pocket. Havent been in a bank in probably over 5 years...Haven't written a check in probably 9 years(think it was on a new house loan). Just generational changes in the world. AI is going to kill us all anyways eventually so it doesnt really matter...Cheers man! lol
  2. just out of curiosity what do you use? gpt3.5? 4? gemini?
  3. Youtube TV is really just broadcast cable for people to stream over the internet(live and on demand/same as cable box). kind of the medium between old and new...another generation and legacy broadcast channels like NBC, ABC, CBS etc will no longer exist. I know my wife and I(son as well) and most people we know for that matter...never watch live nbc, abc, abc, any broadcast cable channels ever except for live sports. Slowly legacy channels are done whether anyone likes it or not. All of our entertainment revolves around mobile phones(we like the app interfaces better than smart tv interfaces) and chromecasting/smart tv sharing to our main living room or bedroom tv's which is android/apple app centric leading to us not using broadcast style any longer. Just a long term trend that will culminate next generation. Just a quick primer for seniors and away they go....probably a really good business idea lol. spent 30min bringing my parents in their 70s up to date w/ streaming/chromecasing apps couple years ago and they navigate mobile apps and smart tv streams about 50 50 to regular broadcast tv now with ease.
  4. Because cable/carrier package delivery is dying a slow death. Slow migration of humans to full streaming which will be done in the next generation. Make the inroads and drag the older demographic into the the future. Generational business shifts....corporations have been reading the writing on the wall for a long time.
  5. Honestly I think YouTube(google) knocked it out of the park
  6. This might be the most enjoyable, conversationally interesting non-attacking each other thread I've read on here in quite a while.. Bravo gentleman. Merry Christmas.
  7. I don't think I've seen a commercial as bad as that Walmart one in a long time
  8. There are ways. If you have kids I'm sure they can show you how to watch for free.
  9. Are any teams working him out? If not, then that is telling imo.
  10. Major takeaway for me from this thread is that a surprising amount of people have a hard time talking about their emotions...and oddly, some get angry when others do.
  11. You seem to forget the world doesn't revolve around you..."We don't need to hear about it" Hard for you to understand that others don't have the same view as you it appears... I find your response quite telling when I simply just suggested that you consider another perspective than your own. I know it's tough for some people to consider others. Again, some people talk about the emotions they feel. I am guessing you don't. That is ok. I find it odd that you get upset that someone expressed the way they feel. Honestly it is more telling about you than him.
  12. Some people are a little more outgoing with emotions. Some like to keep it bottled up. Empathy, my friend.
  13. Hi Colin....Thanks for sharing! Anyone else want to share?
  14. Interesting red on red records. You would think not, but one has to wonder some kind of psychological factor at work... or just complete random occurrence.
  15. Some, some similarities to watching 90s packers...We have a more athletic Favre...if you make him scared to throw pics you lose some of that magic...which turns into a self feeding cycle(hesitates, throws them anyways). This will never be a dynasty. But, when the right elements come together and get on a roll they will probably win one before his career is done. Need to accept the 10 year career and use him as such and not use him poorly and hoping for a 20 year career. Just my 2c.
  16. I use it all the time...lol. in fact I used it during the KC MIA game this morning.
  17. Appreciate the info from everyone....Cheers Gentlemen!
  18. Thanks man! I will inquire about shipping as well for possible other out of towners like me and let everyone know for future reference.
  19. Haha...I had pondered whether they still make iron on letters like I remember my mom using 35 years ago. 😆
