  1. A legit pass rusher- Chandler Jones, Charles Harris, Emmanuel Ogbah, Jaeveon Clowney or a trade for one (Danielle Hunter). re-sign Levi Wallace I'd be quite happy with those 2 signings.
  2. I think a veteran pass rusher has to be number 1 on our list no doubt in my mind. Re-sign Levi Wallace unless his asking price is outrageous, he did a solid job while Tre was on injured reserve. The fact that the Bills inquired about Fletcher Cox tells me that they need an upgrade over Harrison Phillips and they don't think Jordan Davis will be there at #25 in the draft. Mckenzie imo is the new Beasley but for 2M less. Sign the guy who loved that we gave to his charity in Andy Dalton as the backup QB. We can restructure Stefon Diggs, Tre White, Mitch Morse and ask Darryl Williams/Star to take pay cuts or move on from them both. Cut Beasley all moves would improve our cap situation. The rest of the needs should be addressed through the draft.
  3. I can tell he unretired they've spent the last 45 minutes talking about Brady and how everyone will sign back with them.
  4. It's a decent move, he played well down the stretch and will provide the same as Beasley for about 2M less.
  5. The goal is to win a SB, regardless if it's 1 or more. I'm not saying Hunter has to be the guy here but we're about to lose both Addison and Hughes to FA, who's skills are diminishing anyways but we still need to account for 9 sacks and to leave that in the hands of two 2nd year players and a 3rd year player doesn't seem like a smart idea imo.
  6. Odds are were losing both Jerry Hughes and Addison in FA, they weren't very productive to begin with. I can't see us having faith in two 2nd year players and a 3rd year player to man those positions in a SB window. Maybe it won't be a huge splash but I'd go as far as to say there almost definitely will be a splash there imo.
  7. Yeah well when you're in win now mode you don't always think of the big picture, I'm not saying we should be wreckless but we're definitely in that SB window and the AFC just got a whole lot tougher with now Russell Wilson added to it. All I'm saying salary cap is an excuse that we shouldn't be using anymore.... see also TB Bucs, LA Rams, the Rams will definitely be hurting in a few years with some of these moves for sure but if they win another SB anytime soon then it could all be worth it for them.
  8. The cap has an can be manipulated, we've seen it countless times with New Orleans and other teams. He also has an out clause in year 3 where he's only going to cost 2.5M against the cap so you're banking on production now and next year while your young player learns behind these veterans. Salary cap shouldn't be the issue, we're in a SB window right now and we should be going for it not saying oh man we'll lose pick 25 overall. Odds are that guy isn't starting on our roster right away but Hunter is an elite pass rusher, We're losing both Addison and Hughes, are we really going to go into this season with Epenesa and Rousseau as our pass rushers? Not a chance imo.
  9. I was saying I personally wouldn't like the team to use a high pick on a player like this, he's 5'7" 179 lbs. so there's no way he's a FT starter, he's great on passing downs and contributes on special teams. Can't you find players like these in the 4th- undrafted free agency? I was not trying to hide anything. If you disagree that's fine I can respect that also but what would be your reasoning?
  10. IMO these are special types of players, role players, he is not capable of playing every down and for me these are the kinds of players you look for late in the draft or as a undrafted rookie free agent. I wouldn't pay for it as there are many of these types available again imo.
  11. How could you possibly know what positions we desperately need when free agency hasn't even begun yet? What if we re-sign Mckenzie, Wallace and beasley took a pay cut? Anything could happen. One could also argue that pass rusher is the #1 priority on the list. The cap can be manipulated by restructuring, they could have even restructured Mack's deal. The reason Addison had 1 more sack than Mack is that Mack only played 7 games and missed the rest with a season ending foot injury otherwise he most likely would of had a decent amount more and was on pace for a 16 sack season before being injured.
  12. It seems like some fans are always trying to bury our own talent.... I see a bunch of threads "Sign Gronk" so we're burying Dawson Knox who's coming into his own as 1 of the better tight ends in the league? "Sign D.K. Metcalf", Davis just snagged 4 TD catches in the freakin playoffs, what does this man have to do to get respect? I feel like were great at TE and have a solid duo in Diggs/Davis. I think we'll need a solid slot WR since it looks like Beasley is gone and there are some decent ones out there and I'd really like them to bring back Emmanuel Sanders who unfortunately had some injury issues and didn't really get to showcase his talents but provides really good depth.
  13. I'm trying my hardest to like this guy but I just don't understand the love, the guy is injured alot, has a 4 year career total of 1.5 sacks and I get it that it's not his game but I think he's very replaceable. When I hear he could be making an upwards of 5-6M per season I wonder why, I think he's 100 percent replaceable but that's my opinion.
  14. We need a pass rusher, Shaq Lawson isn't that guy imo.
  15. I know Kirk is a slot receiver, not sure if Lockett is also. Since it's likely Cole Beasley won't be back then I think it's a need. Gabe Davis is our #2 for sure but I really like Jameson Crowder in the slot and maybe resign Emmanuel Sanders who gave us solid depth also.
  16. I would think protecting the #1 pick overall should be priority #1. They already used a franchise tag on OT Cam Robinson, adding Neal would give them excellent protection on the outside.
  17. Beane has stated several times he wants to make moves that make sense for now and the future. Signing a soon to be 32 year old LB who will most likely want at least a 4 year deal who won't come cheap doesn't seem like a good decision imo but I really like the player.
  18. We’re in a SB window right now, you just cant hope that 2 second year players and a 3rd year player are going to turn into elite rushers overnight imo. I don’t think it’s a problem to slowly work your prospects into the lineup.
  19. I went with other, I think Emmanuel Ogbah would be a great addition.
  20. Not a chance we stick with just Basham, Groot and Epenesa. We’ll most likely lose Hughes/Addison and need a veteran pass rusher. A DT would also be a great get either in the draft or FA. I’d also like to re-sign WR Emanuel Sanders who I think would come cheap.
  21. I would love to see the Bills draft a top ILB and have Tremaine Edmunds go after the QB, I think he could be a dominant pass rusher in this league but with these egos of HC and coaches in general it will most likely never happen for the money he's making.
  22. It's not difficult to manage the cap, New Orleans does this every single year. I don't necessarily agree with how they run the cap in NO but they've figured out a pretty solid system and was just said to have freed up another 40M+ but are still 30M+ over the cap, I'm assuming that has alot to do with Drew Brees but I'm not entirely sure. It may just be many bad contracts given out or a combo of both. We should have about 30M in available cap space by the time FA hits but in doing so we also may have some holes on the roster after cuts. That's where management will say ok we need to fill this position with a draft pick and this 1 with a free agent.
  23. I'm not a fan of most of these picks for us at all, Fitzpatrick is 39 years old and coming off a season ending injury. RB Marlon Mack would be the first in a long time to come back from as severe of an injury as he had and seems like a big waste of money imo. I don't get the love for Braxton Berrios, can someone explain it to me? Is it because he's a small white slot wr, so we think he'll be the next Wes Welker or Julian Edelman? I don't mind Austin Corbett but I think he's going to get paid alot more than what you or Sportrac have listed. Emmanuel Ogbah should be #1 on this list for sure, this guy could be that [pass rusher we desperately need while the kids are getting their feet wet. I'm really not sure who that CB they listed is so I can't judge 1 way or another but I hope they stray far from this list.
  24. I don't think we need a complete overhaul, I don't even take those people serious that say fire Sean McDermott but leslie Frazier on the other hand, the guy lacks the killer mentality and played completely scared on the biggest stage with the brightest lights and instead of going for Mahomes' jugular he opted for the safe route, you never win games by playing scared and not only that but too many times this guy never adjusts no matter if his defense is getting lit up or not he refuses to sway from his game planning. I agree about the space eating NT and 1-2 CB's but we also need a veteran pass rusher not named Hughes or Addison, someone who can come off the edge and get after the QB.... I really like Emmanuel Ogbah and don't get the hate on this kid, he had 45 tackles, 9 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR in 2021 and almost identical stats the previous year on a bad Dolphins team, our top pass rusher was Mario Addison with 7, I don't think we'll be able to even come close to affording Von Miller/Clowney or Chandler Jones but Ogbah imo is a guy we should definitely be looking at.
