  1. over 10.5 in a 17 game season sounds like easy money to me. I don't plan on going to Vegas so not sure how I could place the bet.
  2. The Bills run blocking was terrible. In yards before contact per rushing attempt they were 31st in the league. The things they were good at, yards after contact per carry (tied for 2nd) and breaking tackles (10th in %); were entirely attributable to the running backs. From 2nd last in yards before contact to 2nd best in yards after, it's pretty obvious what the run game lacks. I'm not saying Singletary and Moss are the answer at running back, I think that remains to be seen. I'm saying the Bills run blocking is practically the worst in the league and for me that's where it starts. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2020/advanced.htm
  3. First of all you'll need a ticket, I no longer recommend sneaking in (as a kid in the 70s we jumped the fence quite a number of times for the Bills and concerts, never got caught). Then you will need to transport yourself to Orchard Park. Depending on where you are starting from, I recommend planes, trains, and automobiles. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  4. New England in Buffalo, start the year with an absolute beat down of the Patriots at home.
  5. Agreed, counting on Star would be a huge mistake imo. If he is ready to go and can contribute, that's good . Hoping he plays at a 'high level' is just foolish. He hasn't played like that since his rookie year. If not for his ridiculous contract they could have easily moved on and improved the position by now. The Bills need a solid 1 tech DT badly, maybe a shorter term veteran for this year and a draft pick to develop. It's not a sexy high profile position but it's crucial to the Bills defensive system and I definitely wouldn't be counting on Star if I were them. p.s. Harry's not large enough and is better suited as a 3
  6. Adequate quantity and variety at rb? Who is the Bill's power back? 205lb Moss? What you need is a 3 down guy who can do it all. Then you're never signalling your intentions. Quantity and variety? How about the things that matter the most, talent and team fit? Harris would be a beast in a spread offense, forcing defenders back into the box and opening up the field. The guys the Bills have need more run blocking focus and the Bills line isn't built for that. I'm not saying the Bills should necessarily move up for him, but if he's there at 30.....
  7. They did, but instead of round communion wafers they got these square tabs of paper.
  8. Tweet Mike Clay @MikeClayNFL ยท Mar 25 Okay, based on my current evaluation of each NFL roster, ...... So this sos ranking is based on Mike Clay's current evaluation of each teams roster, ........๐Ÿ˜‚
  9. Maybin 40 Yard Dash:4.78 seconds Vertical Leap:38.0 inches Broad Jump:124 inches 20 Yd Shuttle:4.38 seconds Three Cone:7.52 seconds Oweh 40 yrds 4.36 secs vertical leap 39.5" broad jump 134" 20 yrd shuttle 4.15 secs 3 cone 6.85 secs Not even in the same ballpark athletically, not even close. Oweh is also taller and 10 pounds heavier. I'm not saying Oweh will be good. I'm saying the Maybin comparisons are lazy and imo inaccurate.
  10. Did this guy really run a 4.36 40? That's insane. 6'5" 257 pounds running 4.36? wtf? Has he ever played rb or wr? 39.5" vertical leap, over 11' broad jump, 21 reps on the bench, guy is an athletic freak.
  11. Another good CB is the biggest need imo and it wasn't even a choice. It would be great to have a sack master but another good CB would also increase sacks and is more of a vital need at this time. Bills were middle of the pack in sacks but around 6th in QB pressure, better coverage will = more sacks and better overall defense, a sack master would be the icing on the cake.
  12. The Oregon Ducks looked like the Globetrotters out there today.๐Ÿ˜œ
  13. Sweet Sixteen!!!
  14. One less day in the bubble I would guess. Let's Go Syracuse!
  15. I like the fact that Hollister caught 7tds from Allen his senior season at Wyoming, had 32 catches, 515 yds, 16 yards per catch. They should be on the same page pretty quickly.
  16. 'Cuse looking good, great way to start the tournament. Keep it rollin'.
  17. Next show was Buffalo 5/9/77, my first show and still one of my favorites.
  18. I saw them in Telluride at the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon in '87, Saturday night after the Dead played the town park that day. Mathew Kelly tore it up. Wild night on an incredible weekend. Afterward I drummed all night in an old schoolhouse with King Baba Olatunji and the Drums of Passion, then we all gathered in the town park for a Baba led sunrise heart opening ritual to celebrate the Harmonic Convergence.๐ŸŒŽโšกโค๐Ÿ˜
  19. The Big10 should have gotten all their teams into the tournament, that's how good they really are. So much better than the rest of the country, they're in a league of their own.๐Ÿ˜
  20. I have a feeling there will be talented free agents this year still looking for a team when the cap $ is mostly spent. There should be some good deals to be had.
  21. For the last 5 seasons Watt is averaging 5 sacks and less than 10 games played per season. I'm glad the Bills missed out on him, I didn't have a good feeling about it.
  22. So weak it was embarrassing, safeties 20 yards deep and backpedaling at the snap. They played defense all game like they were ahead by 3 touchdowns in the 4th qtr
  23. The scheme on D was so weak. A free 7 yards on every play. Safeties 20 yards off the los. I'd rather attack and risk getting burned once in a while than play a soft, scared, nonaggressive style defense. It's ineffective and demoralizing for the players, not to mention frustrating as he'll to watch. Another good cb would be great but that defensive scheme sucked.
  24. The soft zone high safety d conceded way too much to the Chiefs offense. Hyde was 20 yards deep and backpedaling all game. Meanwhile the Chiefs d attacked and disrupted and their coverage was tight. The Bills were outcoached and outplayed today. Great season though and fun to watch, keep getting better and adding talent. I wish the coaches would've had more confidence and courage today but they deserve a lot of credit.
