  1. Young and immature. He didn't sexually assault a girl. Public intoxication... that was the key... or are you afraid he's Johnny Football? I agree with the OP... I think he's going to be the best. No, they aren't... See Nate Peterman Why? Rodgers was 24
  2. Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, or Josh Rosen. Any of those 3. Generally in that order... though Darnold and Mayfield are about equal for me. Why? Darnold I think will be really good down the road, but will likely take a lot of rookie lumps unless Dabol specifically protects him. Mayfield just reminds me of Jim Kelly in terms of attitude and competitiveness. I just feel like he'll be the best QB of the bunch. Rosen I think could come in and start and be really successful immediately, ala Matt Ryan in 2008.
  3. Thanks for that link... I think that lines up more with reality. Their methodology was an absolute joke
  4. This is a complete joke. Read how they generate their rankings. Of course Taylor made our OL look significantly better based on this criteria.
  5. Literally the most fun I've had watching a game in years.
  6. Thinking a lot more about it... I'd love this... I'm just still not thinking it will be what happens. This is sheer and utter crap. It's going to cost more than this, unless Gettleman is doing McDermott a favor. If that's all it costs, do it in a heartbeat. You're still going to somehow have 2 2nd round picks this year. But that's not all it's going to cost.
  7. Ummm... is anyone else seeing the massive problem with this technique to measure the effectiveness of an OL when it comes to protecting a QB like Tyrod Taylor? " Next Gen Stats defines a "pressure" as a pass-rushing play in which a defender gets within 2 yards of the opposing quarterback at the time of the throw or sack. "
  8. There, I fixed it for you. At least now it lines up with reality
  9. Nicely done. I'd be happy. But I think we're going to have to give up a little more.
  10. Don't know... but if we don't get something McBeane is happy with in return, Tyrod Taylor is still very possibly a Bill for another year and the OP is absolutely miserable with another calendar year of Tyrod discussion
  11. Yeah must've been a Freudian slip
  12. We'll move on from talking about Tyrod when Tyrod is no longer a Buffalo Bill. When he's gone, we can stop talking about him the same way we did EJ and Fitz. But I'm sorry... He still is. You should definitely keep crying about it, though
  13. Get me Darnold then Mayfield then Jackson then Rudolph in the 1st. I will be happy with any of them, at this moment.
  14. Obviously. I can't believe this is a surprise to anyone in any way. It's been written on the wall for months now. Really? On this message board? Who?
  15. Actually I don't think that's necessarily a bad sign. Sounds like he's still making his legacy to leave. Beat me to it
  16. Yes! As much as people think I love Tyrod, I'll be 100 times more heartbroken if we trade Shady!
  17. I mean... really...? I believe we'll try hard to move up for a QB, but it just seems like Shady's really bought in and that really matters to McDermott. I don't know if I believe this. I love Shady as a Bill. I hope we don't trade him.
  18. Bwahahahaha!!! Just so long as it's not Allen!
  19. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/02/7_reasons_tyrod_taylor_will_be_the_buffalo_bills_starting_quarterback_in_2018.html 7 reasons Tyrod Taylor will be the Buffalo Bills' starting quarterback in 2018 1) He's already under contract 2) Deal comes off the books in 2019 3) Allows Buffalo to be aggressive in 2018 NFL draft 4) Keeps door open for rookie to start 5) Team knows what they have in Taylor 6) Mobility needed at position 7) Brian Daboll can build offense around Taylor's strengths
  20. Can? They can do it now. Just cut him. That's what so many of you believe we'll inevitably do, right? Why hasn't that happened yet? Pretty sure we don't have to wait for the new league year for that.
  21. Sooo... are you saying Mayfield might be exactly the guy McBeane is targeting and that they've somehow got it figured out that he's going to fall to them at 21? I don't know anything except for the fact that if we stay put at 21 expecting to draft our future Franchise QB in an apparently extremely top heavy QB class, we almost certainly aren't getting our #1 choice and maybe not even #2 or #3. Leftovers can be delicious. But they're still leftovers.
