  1. I did. I said he was great in his last 2 games. Do you read the posts you respond to?
  2. If true... better odds for us to trade for Luck
  3. No. Draft a QB in the strongest and most top-heavy QB class in years. Doug Williams was a Super Bowl MVP... was fantastic in a route of the Broncos... then he lost his job to Mark Rypien. Let's be thankful another QB needy team is going to massively overpay Foles and overcompensate the Eagles. People are making way too big a deal out of 2 games... and that's all he has been good for this year in relief of Wentz. He was great in those 2 games. But 2 games. Foles is a capable starter in the right situation, but not every situation. The Eagles were just an unbelievable situation this year with a fantastic OL, Elite TE, an amazing WR corps, 2 excellent RBs and, most importantly, a brilliant, creative and aggressive offensive play caller. I expect backlash from saying this in this fairly insane thread, but I figured coming here people would be emotional and overreacting. Friggin LOVE that the Patriots lost because the Eagles are just the better team

  5. One would assume this ball started seriously rolling with the firing of Dennison and the hiring of Dabol less than a week after the season ended
  6. On a drive that, at the point of that play call, had already eaten up 7 minutes of clock and where our RBs were relatively effective averaging 4+ YPC against that vaunted defense and we were on the 1 yard line...? Yes. You run on 1st down. Run on 1st down in that situation is NEVER a bad call whereas passing on 1st down there absolutely can be, as it was. Actually that drive was over 7 minutes up to that point
  7. But as KTD put so well on page 1, RPOs are primarily dependent on the look you're getting from the snap. KB was one-on-one and the line was stacked against the run. Based on the play call by Dennison, the decision to pass was probably the right call. The main issue is that it should have just been a called run by Dennison. That was just the final nail in the coffin for Dennison as Buffalo's OC.
  8. Yeah that was a serious indictment of Dennison. I actually thought that was Tyrod throwing Dennison under the bus more than I would have expected from him. It kinda surprised me and you can tell Taylor wasn't happy with the call and feels the blame he's shouldered since has been unwarranted. I think it's interesting how direct he is here... I wonder if he had a conversation about it with McDermott and felt validated. Oh Dennison... if only
  9. Hmmm... confirmation bias?... or are you just revving up the anTy Taylor propaganda train? this is is just hilarious. This message board would be awesome to psychoanalyze. You are an idiot. Benched in the Jags game??? Dude, you're a classless jerkoff with that comment. I really thought you were better than that. Shame on you.
  10. But that's not the discussion. Why do purposefully shift everything around and make ridiculous exaggerations (or "unerestimations") rather than saying something that could be factual and still effective, like, for example, "only 20% of the board feels Taylor will be retained!" I agree Taylor might not be the starter at the beginning of the year (I'm probably 60% that he will be), but the question and point of this entire thread is whether Taylor will be retained under his current contract... I'm about 80% sure there.
  11. Holy crap... if true, you just did a big ole piledriver on MAJbooby and won this (pretty ridiculous) little debate

  13. Hmmm... is 67 more than the "more than a half dozen" Shady said? My math is kinda shaky... but pretty sure 67 is a buttload more than 6. Point signed, sealed and delivered
  14. Half dozen, huh? up to 67... and that seems to still be growing.
  15. Whoa... holy crap I feel so sorry for you after reading this! Why the hell do you bother watching sports at all?
  16. I respond to your questions and you come back with this? Incredible You're hilarious Thurm... why don't you do another terrible breakdown of some pretty simple, clear and direct rhetoric on my part and then not simply admit it was a terrible breakdown on your part and apologize.
  17. Hehe... oh dear lord... my opinion is the only sensible opinion because I think it so I must be right and everyone who agrees with me is sensible and everyone who doesn't is not oh sweet Thurm... don't be afraid to be wrong every once in awhile... as someone once said "There is an inexplicable sense of relief in being proven wrong, which perhaps can only be realized by either a scientist or a philosopher."
  18. Pounded by Thurm... bwahahahahaha!!! You talking about the poster who religiously scurries into the wall to hide when he's wrong about something? Yah, okay
  19. Taylor "showed up" enough to be critical for Ws in enough games in 2017. He made huge plays on critical downs against really solid defenses against the Falcons, Broncos and Chiefs. We don't win the Bucs game without Taylor, which is an often overlooked game. Ultimately, Taylor played a role in every game he played, and a significant enough one to say he was critical to our playoff run, like it or not. You're right about one thing... Tyrod was benched for a reason, we as fans just don't know what that reason is... but, ya know... there were some interesting reports out there :
  20. Question: will you tuck and run like your typical self when you're wrong if Taylor is retained on his current contract this year? That's interesting opinion you have there. It's certainly not a fact... but it's an interesting opinion, nonetheless
  21. I do. The evidence so far this offseason keeps piling up that Tyrod is a Bill for one more year.
  22. And rightfully so. He made that mistake last year on locker room clean out day and it really killed any leverage he had in the off-season. We will all have a pretty definitive answer here in a month and a half, but talk about some douche-baggery in this thread. As I get through these pages and read more and more of the vitriol, I realize there are several posters who are the types of people you don't even cross the street to piss on if their heads are on fire. Yah no... that's definitely not why Kaep's out of the league
  23. Exactly! And that's the bind he got himself into last year when he said on clean out day of 2016 that he'd consider restructuring his contract. Precisely why Taylor's still very likely a Bill for one more year Ummmm... except Taylor can't test the open market considering he's under contract
  24. You'll probably have to deal with him for one more year. Sorry
