We go through this lull every freaking year and end up right where we will end up this year. Wake me up in January when we're playing our first playoff game.

This might be the only thread I post in for the next week and a half. Walker is a stud.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
transplantbillsfan replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He loves Josh Allen more than any other QB in the NFL at this point but gets burned by the Bills every single year. When he predicts they're winning the Super Bowl. The volatility of his rankings is his coping mechanism... that's all. -
Seems like a bit too much panic right now

Sorry but this is a year every team in the NFL is flawed. We aren't fools gold to win the Super Bowl. We haven't been that since 2020. This team has been perfectly capable of winning a Super Bowl since 2021. We just haven't done it. -
Game week thread - Bills at Falcons MNF

I think the bolded is wrong. Josh was Josh but not getting ANY help outside of Kincaid as far as receivers getting separation, the running game and play calling. Joe Marino's All-22 review today was interesting because it outlined our failure to take advantage of the Pats base defense in the passing game. He also emphasizes how much better Josh was on his review than he thought initially. Basically, outside of 4 plays he talks about specifically, Josh was excellent. And yeah we can talk about those 4 plays all day like the pass he didn't make to Samuel after leaving a clean pocket, but as essentially the last play in the passing game for a game where he watched his weapons get no separation, maybe Josh was justified in thinking he needed to roll out to give him more of that run/pass option. Also would have been nice to see the obvious DPI flag thrown. -
Justin Herbert dating singer Madison Beer??

I think @boyst would claim otherwise. Just a hunch. She's hot. Looks like Megan Fox. I also bet you'd find most NFL players have pretty attractive significant others. -
The Ray Davis-backup running back discussion

Some players are gamers. He wouldn't be our #1 back. He'd be our short yardage back. Maybe he has better instincts than Davis, which could help more in those short yardage situations. -
Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??
transplantbillsfan replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. He's already done it. -
The Ray Davis-backup running back discussion

At this point we should absolutely be bringing Frank Gore Jr. up and seeing what he can do in games. Joe Marino actually mentioned this in his podcast this week. -
I think the Lamar fatigue is more of a Ravens thing than a Lamar thing. It feels like we've been hearing for years how great the Ravens are at team building. The narrative has been "they can only beat themselves" for awhile now. I get super sick of that. As if other teams play no role in the Ravens turning the ball over or Lamar making a ridiculous 4th and goal play where he loses 20 yards. Watch... there's still going to be a narrative out there among a significant chunk of people that the Ravens are the best team in football if they can just stop shooting themselves in the foot. One big talking point is going to be their decision NOT to go for it on 4th down countered by Detroit's 4th down decisions. Ignored will be the way Detroit handled Baltimore at the goal line on 4 downs. Lamar just gets that extra angst since he's the QB of that team.

You and @Royale with Cheese are on my list if we don't win the Super Bowl this year.

Ray Davis - Unquestioned RB3
transplantbillsfan replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I asked a couple buddies if they thought it was crazy that I liked Frank Gore Jr. more than Ray Davis. It was preseason. They said yes I was crazy. I don't think I was... -
Disagree about Keon. Liked his play. His "drop" was a tough catch and with a defender pulling his arm.

That non-challenge irritated me because it was so obvious on such a huge play. And to top it off the broadcast didn't even bring it up.

Great read about #17 and what makes him tick

Good. If there's one guy in the league who I think actually should get a little weight off his shoulders it's Josh Allen. -
Interesting in-game convo between Shakir and Palmer

This makes me sad. It just confirms that what I thought was true: some terrible conservative playcalling by Brady in the 1st half. -
In Joe Marino's All-22 for this week he actually said Bishop wasn't the concern, it was Rapp. Sounded like he was fine with Bishop. That tackle against Henry wouldn't happen for any Safety.

Ed Oliver hit on 3rd down last drive. Wow

Holy *****!!!! Now THAT'S how you affect a QB and get in his head!!! That actually reminded me of Milano's hits on QBs -
He was a moron and should be banned, but I'd like to see some punishment for Lamar. I don't think that'll happen, but his actions were also unacceptable.

9/7/25 Post Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF

That might have been the most exciting Bills game I've ever watched that we actually won. AWESOME!!!
