  1. How could the Bills play NY at 1 pm on Thanksgiving? That slot is etched in stone for the Lions.
  2. 1 pm on Christmas Day would be fine to me. My problem is that 1 PM EST Christmas Day is 7 AM HST. No Bueno. If we're the primetime game it'll be 2 something my time. I can manage that.
  3. Not worth much. The draft always proves how much we wasted our time in the offseason looking at mock drafts
  4. I went 6 posts to quote and figure more are complaining about his size and tackling. Did you guys dislike Tre White pre-injury? Hairston is basically Tre in terms of frame and tackling. Shorter arms than Tre but much more athletic. I can see why Sean would be excited. Tre Sr. Is in the building to mentor Tre Jr.
  5. This deserves to be a thread of its own. Pretty obviously a huge reason he’s a Bill.
  6. See.... having Tre didn't prevent us from drafting a CB 👍
  7. Joe Marino's Bills specific horizontal and vertical draft board for anyone interested: https://herdmentality1960.substack.com/p/buffalo-bills-specific-2025-nfl-draft
  8. Ummmm.... has no one watched Paradise on Hulu??? Seriously?!?!?! Friggin awesome show. Watch it!!!
  9. My expectations are low and that Tre will be CB3 and a locker room glue guy again. But I also think it's unfair to automatically say "if Tre is starting in week 8 and our rookie is on the bench we're doomed" or even any variation of that kind of negativity. I know it's been a few years but Tre was an Elite CB for multiple seasons until November of 2021. He's 30 and turns 31 January 2026. He was 28 when he tore his achilles and 26 when he tore his ACL. Von was 33 when he tore his ACL and even at 35 he came back this past season at the age of 35 and was probably 70% of the old Von. If Tre looks like he did in those first few games of 2023 before the Achilles why would you just pull him off the field for a rookie? Again, these are not my expectations, but I could see it happening given the timeliness. PS: isn't Tre also counting against the dead cap this year, too?
  10. To be fair to Tre, he looked cooked when he came back from the ACL and the following season looked like he was back to form. Maybe he needed the extra year for the Achilles. As some have said, if he's even 80-90% old Tre White this is an awesome signing. At worst, we know he's a team player.
  11. Did you really want us going into next week's draft in desperation mode for CB? Remember 2022? Besides, we're still in desperation mode at DT... but that's easier to fill. I can see Beane increasing our uneasiness in the draft by drafting a CB early, but it'll be Revel or Morrison.
  12. This is awesome and I'm sure almost all the money or most of it is incentives based. I don't want to read this thread for fear of negativity. Great signing! We're still drafting a CB high
  13. Did this board seriously just draft 3 DTs in a row?????
  14. Read about this on The Athletic. It's not just him... the whole situation is terrible. Poor girl!
  15. I think any of us would take it. I'd just like to see them win a Super Bowl after beating the Chiefs in the playoffs at some point... but of course beggars can't be choosers.
  16. Honestly at this point I want us to extend Cook. He said $15m... unless he's a total idiot (not ruling that out) he's gotta know that all he did was set his ceiling in negotiations. Give him a $13m AAV contact and I think he's happy. Even if we stick with the 4 year contract theme and make it a 4 year, $52m deal, it's really a 5 year, $57m deal with his final year of his rookie contract. And I think all these contracts have an out after year 2 of the extension. Cook is young and doesn't have much wear on his tires... I think 3 years of high level play is a good bet.
  17. I believe the Benford extension will actually open up some CAP space considering he was projected to make extra this season with the 4th year performance bonus. So we didn't need to restructure anyone for this signing
  18. ANOTHER team friendly below market deal! $19m AAV for a top 5-7 NFL Corner in this market is insane! And when you factor in the last season of his rookie deal it's even lower. Beane is having an incredible offseason!
  19. I thought it was what you thought, which is why I always thought it was weird when NFL players did it.
  20. The write up kinda nails it actually. Buffalo retained 3 young ascending players on below market value deals. Finish with Benford and we’re even better. Palmer in the Mack Hollins roll? That's where they're lost since he was obviously signed to fill the Cooper roll.
  21. Stop listening. It's the home team sports show. You'll find the same with all teams.
  22. It's early Honest question since you're more into the weeds than many of us: Don't you think the Keon Coleman pre-injury last year was having a pretty solid rookie WR season?
  23. And? Was this tweet about CAP or actual cash paid to players on offense? Doesn't specify, does it? And his restructure involved giving him a ton of cash. I even posted the thread with verified links earlier this season So... is this CAP or cash???? Big difference of $30m for Josh on that important distinction in the OP
  24. Are QB contracts is accounted for in these numbers? They're part of the offense so it would only make sense. If so, last offseason in Josh's restructure Beane moved a ton of money into his 2024 season so that I think Josh made like $55-$60m last season. Sorry if that destroys your narrative here, but now find the numbers that subtract QB contracts. Nice try though.
