I'm trying to think of a fall by a player this far. I can't come up with one.

Good call. He was a 2nd rounder on most mocks I saw.
-
CB, DT, DE. Who would've thought. LOL.
-
Darn. We were going to take Isaac Teslaa?

That's different than saying that Edwards is immediately our best IDL. -

One tech is the really fat guy. Three tech is the fat guy. -
Our president just tweeted that the NFL should draft Sanders. Lol.

Thanks Beane for having to explain to my wife the difference between a 1 and 3 tech DT. -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

No because you edited your post and added the study. The difference between 1 (92% for center) and 12 (27% for WR) is statistically significant. All the PFF data showed me is that teams will take more swings on premium positions in the 1st round leading to a higher bust rate than the rare non premium positions where only the best of the best are drafted in the first round. Plus, even after saying that over 50% of CB's in the PFF article panned out as Day 1 hits. You kind of lost me when you said that you could find quality starters in the later rounds and used Dane Jackson as an example of this as he was almost dead last in PFF grading last year to the point they just benched him after week 11. What's the hit rate on CB's from round 2 to 7 since they are so easy to find? -

They were 8th of 12th position wise in terms of hit ranked. The 4th of 12th position wise being only 10% higher. This study was also done six years ago. I'm guessing you're a never draft a WR in the 1st round guy since they were dead last in hit rate. -

So you just proved they have an average bust rate compared to other positions. Congratulations. -

Five Dane Jackson's? PFF had him ranked 214th of 222 CB's last year. Carolina couldn't wait to get rid of him. Also, how is it harder than any other premium position to afford them on a second deal? I'd also like to see the bust rate of a first round CB compared to other positions. -

There's no perfect prospect available at pick #30. He's a little undersized and tackling is the weakest part of game. Tackling is also the one area I care about the least out of a CB prospect. He checks every other box and could be a home run pick. -

Tough crowd. Would you prefer if I prefaced it with something you can get better at? As for Allen...... -

That's why he posted it without comment. Deion Sanders was an awful tackler too. Tackling was pry the weakest part of T. White's game too coming out of college. -
Fans are definitely overvaluing his trade market on here. He's not a bellcow back. You'd be giving up compensation and know you're going to have to pay a good RB elite money. There's a lot of RB's in the draft that have similar attributes this year. You'd be lucky to get a 4th rounder for him.

Bad shoulder or not. He's not a good tackler guys. Love him in every other area though. -

With the Bills rotating as much as they do on the d-line I'm more excited about a CB. -

I think CB is a fun pick as they can turn the game around with an Int with the bonus of it sometimes being a pick 6. How would you rank them as far as fun picks? I'd pry go QB, WR, RB, TE, CB, DE, S, OT, DT OG, C, K, P. -

He also admitted that we're basically screwed if he had to go man to man with the tallest WR's in the league. Lol. I was surprised with how candid Beane was as he just basically told us his scouting report. -

It's never been a mystery to me how McDermott operates. He doesn't care if you're a rookie or not but he'll put in the player that he thinks will best help him win the game. -
Definitely Will Johnson falling out of the first. I didn't know how serious his knee situation was.

Outside corner is a premium position. I get if you don't like the prospect but not being a fan of taking one early is odd to me. He excels at playing man coverage in zone.
