My problem with Oliver is he seems to disappear if you have above average guards and centers on a team. He only seems to feast on below average to average IOL. I don't study him that close to see if it's indeed the case though.

Who is on the Mt. Rushmore of Bills Special Teams
Doc Brown replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mark Pike has gone from underrated to overrated on these boards. I just view gunners, return guys, kickers, and punters as more vital to Special Teams. -
That drop could absolute play mental games with him in future playoff games. You saw it with Mark Andrews last year in the playoffs. Drops one, fumbles another, and then in their most important play of the season they go back to him again?

Doc Brown. Vietnam won't pay a penny.

He threw 18 interceptions and gave away at least one game singlehandedly. Number 12 on the list was fair last year.

Ricky Bobby: Wait, Dad. Don’t you remember the time you told me “If you ain’t first, you’re last”? Reese Bobby: Huh? What are you talking about, Son? Ricky Bobby: That day at school. Reese Bobby: Oh ----, Son, I was high that day. That doesn’t make any sense at all, you can be second, third, fourth… ---- you can even be fifth.

NFL Top 100 year prior to RB's signing massive extensions. Zeke Elliott - 18th Todd Gurley - 6th Dalvin Cook - 21st Le'Veon Bell - 6th (then sat out the next year) Christian McCaffrey - 6th (had one and 1/2 healthy seasons since 2020). Nick Chubb - 26th (had two good years before devastating let injury).] Henry's the one back that has defied the odds. It's a wait and see on Barkley with his new extension.

Maxwell Hairston named in civil lawsuit for sexual assault
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was more that Penn State poster. When you start to get bored on a topic you try and alter the conversation with a moral debate. Can't throw stones on you for that. -
Tasker's in on signing him long term now.

Maxwell Hairston named in civil lawsuit for sexual assault
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be fair this whole thing somehow turned into a somewhat interesting discussion of whether a victim was entitled to all the punitive damages (money) in a civil suit like this. It's such a ridiculously obvious answer but I enjoyed hearing the idiotic alternatives. -
ESPN has him ranked 8th in the NFL FWIW. No mention of him being abhorrent at pass blocking. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45589580/ranking-nfl-top-10-running-backs-2025-execs-coaches-scouts-make-their-picks-best-rushers 8. James Cook, Buffalo Bills Highest ranking: 4 | Lowest ranking: unranked Age: 25 | Last year's ranking: honorable mention Cook entered the top 10 after a 16-touchdown season in 2024, vaulting from honorable mention to No. 8 and pushing Taylor for the seventh spot. He's now tied with O.J. Simpson (1975) for the most rushing touchdowns in a single season in Bills history. Cook's 3.1 yards per rush before contact was the fifth-highest mark of any qualifying back. "Dangerous and explosive," an NFL personnel executive said. Added an AFC exec: "He's perfect for that offense, with a quarterback that spreads things out. He's good in the passing game, catches the ball really well, good in open space. Not sure he's elite yet, but he's really, really good." He's averaging 222 carries per season as the starter, and some teams are curious about how he would hold up as a 300-carry No. 1 back at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds. But either way, he has earned league wide respect at a time when he's seeking a contract extension from Buffalo.

There's some states that have a split-recovery statue for the money awarded to the plaintiff in punitive damages. The plaintiff gets a certain amount and the rest is given to the state who allegedly gives it to a charity. -
The best NFL draft pick ever at every slot from No. 1 to 262
Doc Brown replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never like that is it cheapened the record. If sacks were counted before 1982 Deacon Jones would have the record with 26 sacks in 1967 (in 14 games). -

It's like writing a book report without even reading the cliff notes though. You caught enough grief though and that's usually the first conclusion people automatically jump too so I get it. -
I saw that at the Angola Theatre on Friday Night. Loved it so much I went back on Saturday night. Then attended the Sunday matinee. My god has it been that long.

Doc Brown replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. Once he lost Holcomb and Losman throwing him the football his career went downhill fast. -
Who knows. Gilmore and Cooper at this point I'm guessing are waiting an injury to earn as much as possible. Claypool's agent are pry talking to teams right now. Just not sure how many.
-
Depends on his options. If another team gives him a better shot to make the roster he'll go there. Coleman, Shakir, Samuel, and Palmer are pry locks based on their contracts or draft investment in Coleman's case. There's nothing in Elijah Moore's contract that guarantees he has a spot locked down come this fall so maybe Claypool could push him for that WR5 spot.

Good write up. Adrian Peterson has four 1st team All Pros and three 2nd team All Pros. Josh would have to at least win another MVP (or multiple 1st or 2nd team all pros) and win a Super Bowl at minimum to catch him imo.. -
Just looked it up. I was wrong. His rookie season he only had 873 yards. 860 the next. He'd fit right in with our WR room after all.
-
If he made our team he'd be the only Bills WR that went for over 900 yards before in a season. What's the downside?

I didn’t know about the social media part of it. Thanks. I read the civil suit and it was hard to stomach.
