Didn’t he drop 30 pounds for no reason last offseason. Makes you wonder if he’d have had a better year at a higher weight.
-
Based off what?
-
What did Wentz do to piss off Irsay and Ballard that much? They’re not going to find an upgrade this year.

Dockery and Walker in 2007 have to take the cake but it's pry is a close second. Beane did well in 2019 and 2020 free agency in the place it mattered most in helping Josh Allen develop (Brown, Beasley, Morse, D. Williams) but the defensive signings weren't too impressive (Butler, Jefferson, Addison, Norman). I don't know. I guess I don't have as much faith in Beane in making the right free agent moves compared to most Bills fans.

The Rams haven't had a first round pick since 2016 and won't have one until 2024. They just won the Super Bowl albeit they're pry an anomaly because of how well they drafted in the later rounds. Elway isn't the GM but is the root cause of needing to make this trade. They have a strong roster on both sides of the ball and are a legitimate contender for at least the next couple of years. I'd argue they're pry the third or fourth best team in the AFC right now. This trade was a huge win for the Broncos unless Wilson significantly loses mobility as he gets up there in age.

I want the better offenses later than in the year when T White is 100%.

For a 2nd. Yes. I don’t think even think you could make that trade on Madden though. A 4th at best. Your fault for raising a Seahawks fan. That’s why MCM was more painful than 13 seconds.

Does the strategy change when a team is this close to the SB?
Doc Brown replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
A little more aggressive maybe but not to the point where you significantly mortgage the future. You need a great roster, luck, a coach willing to squib kick it, and a good year health wise to win the Super Bowl. Putting yourself in the playoffs most years gives you the best chance. -
We went from 13 seconds to host an AFC Championship game to talking about fricken comp picks within two months. I hate comp picks because it rewards teams for letting players walk. It's never made sense to me in a league where they have a hard salary cap with even the cheapest owners having to adhere to the minimum salary cap spending.

Looks like the call to squib may not have made it to Bass
Doc Brown replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good catch. I re-watched it with NFL gamepass and they did squib it with 15 seconds left and the Rams returner took it from the 10 to the 25 taking five seconds off the clock. A very similar scenario with the only difference being that the Rams had zero timeouts left while the Chiefs had three so that could've led McDermott to doing something different. It's frustrating watching that back how simple it was to execute. McDermott choked in the most crucial of moments and only a Super Bowl victory will atone for that. If not the "13 seconds" will haunt him until his last breath. Oh well. Let's get that fast guy at #25. -
This will inspire many NFL players to have a friend make their bets for them. This problem isn’t going away with more states legalizing gambling and the NFL getting in bed with these companies. The fall of Rome is upon us. Apples and oranges comparison. Those crimes don’t have the potential to impact the actual games on the field like gambling does.

Should've built a dome instead of their current mud pit.

Speculative article on friction between McDermott and Staff?
Doc Brown replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I can deal with Mahomes, Hill, and Kelce getting their team into field goal range in two plays in 11 seconds with three time outs. Our defense couldn't cover a stationary wall with paint at that point. What's unacceptable to me is a communication error by our coaching staff on the kickoff. It's inexcusable and Heath Farwell was the fall guy. -

It will eventually leak out what happened. A "lack of execution that starts with me" is all you're going to get from McDermott at this point though. -
Tim Graham: Bills stadium deal could be announced this week.

Have you seen our grain elevators? There's been enough economic studies over the years in various cities to show building a new stadium has little impact on the economic development around it. Especially an NFL stadium. -

That's pry what was called. Their returner is not going to fair catch it at the five yard line or take the chance of it bouncing through the end zone. We have one of the best special teams coverage units in the NFL and have used that kick effectively throughout the season. Bass is excellent at executing them. The problem with the squib kick is it can take a funny bounce, it can hit one of their blockers at like the 40 where they can just fall on it, and the lack of hang time on the ball gives our coverage unit less time to get down the field increasing the chances of a long kick return. -

An onside kick would've pry worked. Nobody would've expected that. -

If that did happen McDermott would've said it was my call to kick deep at the after game press conference. There's been nothing in the last five years that makes me believe McDermott is a liar. Communication broke down at the most crucial time and McDermott didn't want to throw anyone under the bus. I don't know how he could've handled it any differently without damaging his in house reputation as frustrating as it is for Bills fans. -
Not so far with the Bills but they were there when the Panthers drafted Star in the first round. They then overpaid for him to come here to be a run stuffer. I wouldn't be surprised if Davis is the pick.
-
It's crazy to think he was a healthy scratch early in the year and now it would be a loss if we didn't re-sign him. I'm pretty confident they'll get a deal done.

IF WE ONLY HAD A LEADER LIKE ZELENSKYY

Correlation does not equal causation . For example, nine out of the last ten recessions happened under a Republican president despite relatively similar economic policies. -
Cole Beasley given permission to seek trade

Uggghhhh. Don’t like it given his unique skill set. He’s worth his current contract and some team will pay him at least that. -
Tim Graham: Bills stadium deal could be announced this week.

That 75% is optimistic. Unfortunately, once we lose a pro football team we’ll never get it back so the Pegula’s had all the leverage. -
Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham
Doc Brown replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
He'd be a great signing. Besides that T. White body slam has there been any other incidents of similar behavior? When Knox went out there was a significant downgrade to Sweeney. You always want to shoot for more depth if you can afford it. Just look at the Rams. We were saying did they really need OBJ knowing they already had Kupp and Woods? Then Woods gets hurt and the Rams pry don't make and win the SB without him.
