I deleted my post. I watched the Cardinals incident last week and it was innocuous contact with Hussey so I think the ejection was coming regardless of what Epenesa said. You just can't contact an official between plays or you're likely to be disqualified.
It's early but next week could determine home field advantage and the MVP. Allen and Mahomes have been the most impressive and there's zero reason to think it will change after next week. Can't wait.
Just look at the game status on Friday's injury report.. If there's a dash it means they're likely playing. That includes Diggs, Davis, Saffold, Jones, Lewis, Miller, and Morse.
A year ago our starters were White and Wallace at CB so it is absolutely true. Jackson didn't start until the game after Thanksgiving.
I was thinking more "good, maybe we can take advantage of a banged up secondary." That was the last thing on my mind.
They showed poise at a critical moment of the game this past Sunday though. Singletary not taking it in for a touchdown to bleed down the clock. Allen having the wherewithal to get the first down without scoring a touchdown so we could kick a field goal with three seconds left against a helpless Ravens team watching from the other side. It was a clinic in clock management.
Pegula doesn't seem like the kind of owner who will make that move even if it needs to be done. I think he's perfectly happy just being in the hunt every season.
