  1. I would say he takes an average amount of bad hits for a starting quarterback in the NFL. Herbert may be in a full body cast by the end of the year.
  2. I'm pretty sure they make you leave in a walking boot even if a bee stings your foot.
  3. Are we meeting them at the airport?
  4. Good thing Rice wasn't driving the cart.
  5. Hello darkness my old friend.....
  6. God no. There's a reason they went out and signed Jon Brown and Cole Beasley in 2019. Zay Jones was awful at that point in his career and a long with Foster they barely put up over 1,000 yards combined.
  7. Whenever I think of at Baltimore this tweet comes to mind Allen's rookie year. I know there's been a lot of talk about moving on from Diggs but my god we've come a long way.
  8. Oh God. He made a lot of clutch catches over the years. We don't have to diminish his contributions because we don't like how he exited.
  9. Not exactly a trade but pretty much the same thing is the Rams acquiring OBJ mid season in 2021 just after the Browns released Beckham. The Rams don't win the Super Bowl without him as he was still elite.
  10. Beane isn't if we lose more than we win before the trade deadline and are around .500. He'll make a move whether it's for a WR or another position of need. BTW, if we lose three straight (we're playing way better defenses) this idea is going to be a lot more popular. We'll see 100 page threads on Hopkins, Adams, Cooper and maybe even Diontae Johnson. I'm glad they pushed the trade deadline back a week.
  11. What's somewhat even more surprising to me is Coleman pry being ahead of him if he wasn't disciplined for being late. I thought MVS and Samuel would get more snaps in place of him.
  12. He's averaging the same ypc as Barkley did last year (3.9 ypc) because of the Giants porous offensive line and teams load up the box and dare Daniel Jones to beat them. Motor isn't the problem with the Giants offense.
  13. True. The Douglas trade last year was needed because Elam wasn't up to the task of replacing T. White. Also, he had another year left on his deal. I think you'd need just an avalanche of injuries at the WR position for Beane to try and trade for an expensive WR like Hopkins. Learning the playbook and developing chemistry with Allen takes time. Do you really want to spend $7m or whatever it is on a rental player with the hope that he'll be a meaningful contributor in January?
  14. It's not happening. This regime has clearly told us this off-season that this WR by committee approach is what they're going with for better or worse. They also told us they're going younger and cheaper. Hopkins is the opposite of that at this point in his career and he's too expensive for a rental player. Now if the Browns want to dump Amari Cooper........
  15. Low scoring tight game assuming it rains like it was two years ago. Douglas picks off Lamar with 30 seconds left. Bills -21 Ravens -17
  16. Seems it always rains there.
  17. That's a horrible list. Lol. Mine as well just read the standings.
  18. Is he talking about Diggs or Claypool?
  19. He wasn't even born until right before our 4th Super Bowl. Man I feel old.
  20. I'll eat crow. I thought he was cooked. He looks great through three games. A very pleasant and needed surprise.
  21. So were the Jags. It's going to come down to execution and coaching like always.
  22. I'm encouraged what I've seen so far. However, we've faced three pedestrian defenses and the Jags secondary is a JV squad at the moment. There's been numerous times since 2020 where we needed a WR to get open in man coverage in the "gotta have it" situations near the end of games (I know he dropped it in the KC game). Diggs was that guy 9 out of 10 times. That's where the skill set lost with Diggs at concerns me. We're going to be in some close games against some good defenses and that will be the real test of this new receiving "everybody eats" crew.
  23. My wife got Covid so I had to give my ticket away to "take care" of her. I'm not sure that's sustainable for future games.
  24. That's the first "on time" benching I can remember in the McDermott era (at least publicly).
