24-13 Bills Rasul Douglas pick 6. -
I don't know much about the art of kicking but someone on the coaching staff should just tell Bass to kick straighter.

If the Browns are selling why not go after Za'Darius Smith? 1.2M base salary. Can't have enough pass rushers even though I'm as big of a Casey Toohill fan as anybody.

After listening to him speak I don't think we're going to have a 60 page thread analyzing what his latest enigmatic tweet means.

The league was disappointed in the size of our Buffaloes at the new stadium I guess? -

He doesn't know it yet but it's performances like his that continue to devalue the RB market. Also, what's up with James Cook's agent saying to Schefter that he's going to play? -
Allen got incredibly unlucky with interceptions last year. Regression to the mean was coming but I didn't expect it this fast.
-
That was an incredible interception by Taron. One of the best I've ever seen.

10/14/24 Game 6 Bills at (NJ) Jets MNF Post Game thread

McD's getting better. He decided to shift his end of 2nd half game management skills to the end of the 1st half. Baby steps. -
There's not 100's of guys who can do what he does. He can stretch a defense vertically, has great sideline awareness, and is an elite ball tracker. We saw that in the Colts playoff game in 2021 and the Chiefs playoff game in 2022. If Gabe was in their instead of Hollins last week that first deep ball is a TD. He was also good at scramble drills and finding soft spots in zones. His inability to quickly separate against man in the short/intermediate areas of the field, his drops mostly due to technique (tries to clap catch it a lot), and his inability to win 50/50 balls is why the Bills were correct in not giving him the money the Jags gave him. I just wish Beane had more foresight into replacing him and Diggs through the draft. Now we're stuck with throw the kitchen sink for a WR on the trade market because our WR core is bottom 10 in the NFL.
-
He's vastly outperformed his 4th round draft spot so you just undercut your argument. Shakir's outperformed his 5th round status too. It's more passing up WR's for other positions in the first couple of rounds that have led to where we are now in the WR room.

Seems they really have their mindset on increasing kickoff returns and increasing players safety. This would be the best options under the current format imo. 1.) Move the kicker back five yards. 2.) All touchbacks only go to the 20 yard line if the ball either lands in the end zone or is caught in the end zone. 3.) If a kicker kicks it through the back of the end zone then the returning team gets it at their own 35. Creates maximum incentive for teams to return kickoffs.

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
Doc Brown replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Talk about a bad bluff. We didn't get the trade compensation we were looking for so we're going to keep him. Yeah. I'm sure that won't make for an awkward situation if they keep him. I wonder if there's an internal dispute between Telesco and Davis. Telesco says eat the salary and get the best trade compensation. Davis says no fricken way I'm paying for a player not on the team. -
Cook and Shakir return to practice.

Schefter's pretty reliable.
