  1. Oh...so this is what it feels like to be on the other side of one of these miraculous victories....neato! I'm on a gravy train with biscuit wheels and I don't care who knows it. I woke up the wife to tell her they won. Do you have any idea the danger there?! I poked the bear and lived to tell it. Thanks Josh Allen!
  2. I dunno. I get that he's seen as a true leader and all that but without Detroit putting up 30 or 40 in every game last year they probably don't even make the playoffs and then does he even get considered for a HC job? They might go as Fields goes and he's had some moments but overall he's inconsistent. I also have it on good authority that all Jets players and coaches are just straight up doodie heads.
  3. I'd like offer a very heartfelt "Daaahahahahaha" to the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and New England Patriots. Hah! What's the consensus as to which week McDaniel is getting the boot? Four or five? And to the Browns I'd like to say, "You're a buncha bums." I'm not sure why but I've developed quite the disdain for the Bungles. It might be Burrow and his insanely punchable face. Top five all time in punchable faces, right up there with that human fart Logan Paul. My buddy is a Giants fan so I stay tuned into them and sheesh, more of the same over there. Daboll is probably already wanting to start his special boy Jaxon Dork.
  4. I've actually met Tyler, he's a good dude. His stuff seems pretty well vetted. I think at this point many of us are just flat out sick of the constant shows, articles, podcasts, and opinions. He's a level up from most of the talking heads that never shut up. I don't watch much of any pregame stuff, watch the games on mute. I'll watch some post game stuff to catch highlights from other games and most news I read online. It just seems to be the nature of fans (of anything) to shout "this sucks and so do you" any time they read or see something with which they disagree.
  5. Yeesh. I regret checking in on this thread lol.
  6. Yeah, I agree with this. I think the idea of the RB position being easily interchangeable is starting to fade a bit. Seems like more teams wanna have a guy that really fits their system and culture. Which, of course you wanna have that across the board but it's not always possible at all positions given the cap.
  7. 2003. Slapped the Patriots 31-0. Big Sam Adams with a pick six and Lawyer Milloy signed with the team earlier that week. Too bad it was a total bummer season. I always found it funny that the Patriots saw fit to return the favor and routed the Bills in the season finale with the same exact 31-0 score.
  8. He's obviously had some great moments but the inconsistency was always a thing. Seems pretty risk-free for the Bills and I'm pretty sure he's a really well liked/respected locker room guy so there's that and if he can get back from the injury and find a role on the field then that's cool too. I know some folks bet hung up on a "true number one" WR but I really love the varitey of skill sets they have with this current group.
  9. Terrific role player and a good dude. And I can agree that Kincaid has the edge on him as a receiver but all I know is numerous times last season Knox would get wide open over the middle for like 25-35 yards every time. It's also pretty evident that the knee injury really limited Kincaid last season. I don't think they were able to utilize him as much as they would've liked but hopefully he's 100% and makes a leap in here in his third year.
  10. They're pretty cool. A little plain but I see what they're going for. Might pick up a mini helmet.
  11. Old enough, haha. That one doesn't ring a bell, tho. I'm born in 82. The "blacklabel" screen name comes from a song from a metal band. I think I've been using it here and there since like 2004? Yeesh haha.
  12. Seems similar to the Micah Hyde situation last season. Maybe in certain situations you can play Poyer. Obviously he knows the system and all that. Fret not, Bills fans...for I have found my helmet and uniform (made by Franklin, we all had one) and I am ready to get out there and embarrass myself so youse guys don't have to. "And that's your journeyman's favorite journeyman, blacklabel coming in at safety. And now the snap, Lamar Jackson pitches to Derrick Henry and....wow, Henry was nowhere near the secondary and blacklabel has engaged in a full on sprint for the locker room! Our own Sal C reports hearing 'I want my mama!' as he ran by. And that'll be a career for ol' blacklabel." Sorry guys. I tried.
  13. Honestly ever since they signed this dude I feel like I've seen his name consistently pop up in camp reports filed under "hey this guy looks pretty good." Hope he sticks!
  14. This is the year guys. This is finally my year. When they announce the all pros at the end of the year you're gonna hear, "Third string wire wrangler and tablet clerk, blacklabel!"
  15. They could probably get a sponsorship with like, Bic or something. I think they make decent shavers. Badum tssh!
  16. If Shavers doesn't make the team outright after that ridiculous TD catch I will.... I'll.... Well, I'll just sit here like a lump still but maybe I'll shake my fist at the clouds or something. I dunno if there's a spot for Hamler but I feel like he could be a bit of a speed option for them if they want. Deone Walker had some great plays. A couple times he flat out manhandled his guy and made a TFL. And then he got in there for a sack with Epenesa helping out. I know a few series later he did get washed out on some nice runs by TB but there's enough there that the dude could be a really solid player once he puts it all together. Cole Bishop looked as confident as I've seen him yet so good for him, keep it going.
  17. Heck of a series by Deone Walker there.
  18. Most of the camp reports I've seen said Moore was a consistent performer but nothing flashy. Then there were a couple reports that said he hasn't done well at all....so, ya know, the usual lol
  19. Of course they're tuff enuff. They wrestle lions and grizzly bears!
  20. Whoa whoa whoa there, pardner! Just who in the blue heck do youse think youse are waltzing into town like this with your....your based takes?! You think you can just come in here and *gasp* make sense?! I've only one question for you, fella. How dare youse? I mean, how diggity dog dare youse, fella? We'll thank you kindly to get back on your horse and keep it moving onto the next town, alright? Now if you'll excuse me, I need to prepare for my fourth panic attack of the day.
  21. I dunno what youse guys are yappin' about. There was a game? What is this "pre-season foosball" you speak of? I know nothing of the kind. I have toddlers. All I know is Bluey and Super Simple Songs and Lingokids and Booba and, the absolute worst of them all... Steve and Maggie. Dang youse, scuba Steve.
  22. Every time I visit the board after a rough outing and see all these whacky posts my brain automatically starts playing that old "Crying" song by Roy Orbison.
  23. I don't think they're the juggernaut they've been in past seasons. They were on the end of some extremely fortunate situations last season and played a buncha slack teams until the Bills slapped them around later on the year. Why oh why couldn't that have happened in January?! I'm still sad, man. I'm still kickin' rocks.
  24. Every time I see McDaniel talk I'm always like, "Cripes that guy looks frazzled." He bears the mark of a man who's consistently having his jimmies rustled. They ain't beating those "soft" allegations, tho. McDaniel seems like a nice guy, I'm sure I'd be able to shoot the breeze with someone like that...but he's never struck me as a true leader. I just don't think a lot of players take him super seriously.
