Whatever creative ability Daboll had has disappeared with this pathetic OL. I have an idea. All the money we would've wasted on Edmunds we can use on a guard.
It's so adorable that some fans still don't believe the shield can steer games any direction they want. Boettger is allowed to react to a neutral zone infraction. I'm over this horrible officiating. The Bills will never get calls. Today we lost because we failed to improve our OL.
And y'all wonder why nobody wanted Daboll last year. He's under the impression it's better to throw a lateral to Beasley or McKittrick behind the LOS and hope their massive size can break 5 tackles for a 2 yard gain. A slant on a blitz would make way too much sense.
After today I never want to see Daryl Williams play RT again. Just watch him sleep on that late sack of Josh and you'll be disgusted. Leave Brown at RT, jam DW to RG and ask Dion to earn his contract.
So true, it's not like we haven't seen that movie before. With how bad our OL has been playing, I wish we had just kicked the damn fg today and v the Titans. Bass is our best redzone threat at this point.
Virgil you have absolutely nothing to apologize for. I felt the same way today. I was so proud of how many Bills fans took over that stadium today. Being a fan of this team is exhausting. I know, I've done it for 50+ years. All you ask from your team is to play hard and compete. Today the coaches failed and the OL simply QUIT. No more play time at practice. Run these guys till they drop.
Gotchya.....I like Gabe alot, I just think with him no longer being a big part of the offense, his confidence & focus is down. Daboll better figure all this out.
We desperately needed that catch today. If I'm a WR3 who is now barely getting targets, I sure as hell better be ultra focused on the opportunities I have.
He is somewhat slow eyed and I've noticed that often. When he scrambles out of the pocket he is able to pick up (see) open receivers he might have missed earlier in the progression.
He's officially run out of bandaid to cover up the warts of this pathetic OL/RB group. We expect him every week to be Superman, 100% of our offense. A one man band. Beane and McD have a ton of work to do this offseason.
If he was a 6th-7th rounder he'd be cut long ago. They're vested and any chance of him getting a 2nd contract ended today. Just bench his a ss and use Bates more.
