Najokeyou...Nothankyou

I'm starting to get the feeling that the ultimate goal is not the SB. It's continuity, regular season success, revenue control and completion of the new stadium Terry's not dumb. He's sees the flaws of Sean but chooses to ignore them. Sean brought him Allen and a winning culture. Why bite the hand that feeds you, and McDermott feeds him & the minority partners stability.

Terrel Bernard in question for the start of the Playoffs ???
LABILLBACKER replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly...if we had 3 fast strong thumper LB's you could survive weaker DT's. But guys like Bernard are 6-1/220. They don't stand a chance against rbs like Henry. Then you run a 4-2 and you're asking Milano/ Bernard to cover alot of real estate. -

He'll have 2 weeks to rest. He'll be fine. I'm more concerned with where Milano will be come WC weekend. And how many snaps does Dorian get? -
3 of his 6 int's were as follows: 1. Coleman drops perfect slant td 2. Cooper slips out of route 3. Knox runs wrong route

We all know the offense is capable of 30+. But we can't be naive enough to think they’ll do that every playoff game. There will be an offensive letdown somewhere along the road to the SB. That's when we need our D more than ever. Maybe they are secretly saving some defensive wrinkles for the playoffs? Expecting us to get 2-3 takeaways is unrealistic. On a positive note it does look like we'll be relatively healthy going into the WC round.

Well Mina is definitely an expert in stupidity.

Without Josh, the Bills win 4 games Without Lamar, the Ravens win 9. There's your MVP formula....

Do you want the Bills to win this week?
LABILLBACKER replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
>Yes try to win and go for the franchise record of 14 wins > give your backups some reps in case we need them later >give your starters a much needed day off & get out of Foxboro healthy > could care less about NE's #1 pick. Their future will depend on whether Maye pans out or not. -
So in this world a Chiefs v Bills SB .....Finally!

Yes 14 wins would be a franchise record. -

Then that's all the more reason I wish Kim had the capacity to run this team. -
Agree...at this point Micah is nothing more than a glorified coach.

What is Josh Allen worth in wins and losses?
LABILLBACKER replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is it?....qb rating doesn't even factor in rushing yards or tds. -

No worries...your prospective is greatly appreciated. On a side note I think we both agree that if McD had a better front 4, his back 7 wouldn't have to work so hard to make his scheme work. -

The last place I want to be with a superstar like Josh is "no man's land". That's basically code for saying we're too terrified to consider moving on from McD. Even if we continue this yearly groundhogs day playoff exit. And I totally agree that every single solitary Bills fan wants a championship. I believe Ben Johnson would immediately be Josh's Andy Reid. That's just my opinion. And yes I could very well be wrong, but I think Josh has earned the right to have a long term offensive HC. -

No sorry @GunnerBill. At no point in the last 8 years have I said we have talent on defense. In fact besides maybe Milano, we've struggled to find talent. Especially on the front 4. And I've also stated in several other threads that we have not landed an elite pass rusher in the Allen era. You brought up 44% which is an excellent analogy I might add, to stress the struggles of this untalented group. -

I never said the defense was talented? -

LABILLBACKER replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
You're right...we don't have a defensive unit good enough to get off the field. The 3rd down % is the most important indicator. A 44% 3rd down rate is not getting you to a SB ever. And after we get bounced from the playoffs for the 7th time in the McDermott era, will he be willing to acknowledge maybe his D style doesn't work anymore?? -

So that's where we're permanently stuck. Terry will never fire McD. Josh is so great we're guaranteed 10+ wins every year and playoffs. Nothing beyond that. That's basically our future. Take it or leave. And as several fans have told me, we can do nothing about it. I guess the passion to chase a championship isn't as strong in Buffalo as it is in other organizations.
