Lost in the sauce: Outstanding Performances vs KC
LABILLBACKER replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Bass went 13/13 on all his playoff kicks including 2 long ones. I hope he found that swing. Cook & Hollins must be extended. -
Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
LABILLBACKER replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kincaid was a mess all night. He shouldn't even have been out there with 2 bad knees. He couldn't even push Josh properly on that last play. I just don't know why the NFL requires to give KC all these borderline calls. They're hard enough to beat without them. -

So you just choose to ignore the obvious. Not one call bothered you. Got it... -

1. Tip of ball hits ground. By NFL rule this is an incompletion. 2. Subsequent td has Phillips coming to Hamlin's side after Kelce is seen taunting him. Jordan gets the flag as Kelce's blatant taunting is ignored. 3. Kincaid's 3rd down spot was embarrassing. 4. Josh on his last surge got the line to cover. These were the most blatant missed calls that went in KC's favor. On top of this the Bills had double the penalty yardage as KC. You gotta be extremely naive to think the refs weren't playing games. And yes refs will always have the capacity to "gently steer" games in any direction necessary. It's funny how 2 years ago Taylor Swift didn't give a rats ass about the Chiefs. How things so quickly change. -

All Chief fans and Patriot fans should feel this way. Brady was escorted to SB's for 20 years and it looks like Mahomes is on the same trajectory. Just ignore bull...my theory is he's an ex- ref/ official... -

Allen suffered a wrist injury against KC, won’t go to Pro Bowl
LABILLBACKER replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lamar is also not playing. The game is a joke. Just announce Pro Bowl winners but don't make them actually play in this stupid game. -
Nope, Von has played his last game in a Bills uniform. He will never win a SB on a 3rd different team. As usual the football gods crapped on us with this signing. And be prepared for this upcoming season being the last for Rousseau / Epenesa. Our elite pass rusher search will have to come somewhere else?

Kurt Warner breaks down the 4th down. Allen error?
LABILLBACKER replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn't see even one new or innovative offensive play from Brady in this game. What a huge disappointment. -
Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy

They're playing chess....we're playing squid games.... -
Completely agree...we were emotionally fatigued during the Hamlin year, but not this year. Our coaches and most of our players totally underperformed and we're so incredibly out- coached. And that goes for all 4 guys. McD, Brady, Babich & Smiley were children going up against men.

Yeah, if Josh had even 10% influence in obtaining Kincaid & Coleman then we're in big trouble. Beane is screwing things up enough on the defensive side. He doesn't need help screwing up the offense. Josh should've established some chemistry with Kincaid by now. Coleman during his rookie season had all the flaws we were afraid of. I'm all for Josh having some level of input, but only to a point.

Don't feel better. This is 58 years of having my heart torn out. Following the Bills is borderline unhealthy from a mental wellness standpoint. Continuing to watch bad coaches destroy good players. Why was Cook not part of that last drive? Why did Brady telegraph 6 failed tush pushes? When will our spiritual leader of "the church of process & culture" ever build a defense? And Terry will just stand there and let all this continue. Sorry @Augie, not even the Serenity Prayer works. I'm too old for this Shi#.....

How many years left on the “run”
LABILLBACKER replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have now officially wasted 50% of Josh's career and probably his most athletic years. I'm guessing he plays 8 more seasons to 36. He'll be forced to become more of a pocket passer. This will make his "2nd half career" accomplishments more challenging. I've totally given up on ever expecting McDermott to build a quality playoff defense. Josh will go down as the greatest player in Bills history. But asking him to do it all always has been and always will be stupid and unsustainable. -
Defense has been a disaster for the entire McDermott era. And as long as his GM continues to make failed early picks on defense, nothing will ever change. I'm not even confident McDermott shifts to more man or base 4-3? It's like that dream where you're running down the hallway that never ends.

The Chiefs are always one step ahead of the Bills...
LABILLBACKER replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott will NEVER magically become a better coach than Reid. And Babich is a child compared to Spags. I don't care how many more years this organization is dumb enough to keep McD. The results will always be the same. McD and his worthless defense is the definition of insanity. He's asked Josh to save his job for 8 years now. He should be embarrassed. Show some pride and excel at your specialty. Your scheme and defenses have been a fail. -

Name me one great defensive player that Beane has drafted? ......crickets.... -
Joe Brady and Aaron Kromer had a rough night
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
2 straight years when we've needed our OL to stand firm late in a game, they fail. Dion getting pushed into Josh causing an erant throw to Shakir and this year everyone reading the shift wrong. -
This is rare but I agree with this analysis
LABILLBACKER replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their coaches sit at the adult table. Ours sit at the kids table. Cook is undoubtedly our 2nd best offensive weapon. The most important drive of the Allen era and he's on the sideline? Absolutely moronic -

So incredibly stupid not to use him on that last drive. Not to mention all the failed tush push crap. Brady better improve next year because he was not impressive the 2nd half v Ravens and most of the KC game.
