I think he set the record today for the most start and stop weeping in a retirement announcement.

Bills 2024 scheduled opponents list is out !!!
LABILLBACKER replied to Toyo321's topic in The Stadium Wall
I for one hate it. Josh usually starts off slow and facing the Jets D week 1 is getting old with me. Hopefully they'll have Rodgers face someone else. -
I agree....I'm optimistic we'll add a 1st round quality wr and another later in the draft. I think we'll draft a late round RB (Gore) to supplement Cook & Johnson. I am concerned about the DL & S. That's where we'll need to make better decisions in FA. I say slightly better but minimizing injuries will dictate the success of this season.

Is trading Milano something Bills should consider?
LABILLBACKER replied to All I Need is Hope's topic in The Stadium Wall
We saw enough of these 2 on the field together to feel extremely optimistic about the next couple seasons. I still think Dorian will develop into a plus LB to spell Milano/Bernard. -

Other than Josh, nobody has stepped up in the playoffs. -

Exactly...Milano is our best defensive player who is probably underpaid. At the very least we keep him these next 2 seasons and pray for no injuries. -
Who Would You Trade Up For, And How Far Would You Go Up To Get Them?
LABILLBACKER replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's not make the same mistake we made on Sammy. Thomas is the only guy I'd trade up 3-4 spots to get. -
Yup

After yesterday who is your WR pick at 28?
LABILLBACKER replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
At this point KC's getting a very good wr no matter what. And there's nothing we can do about it. But what we can do is make absolute sure our target wr (Thomas, Mitchell, McConkey) fits our system and expectations. And I'd even consider landing another wr in the 2nd if the value is there. -

I'm willing to trade up a couple spots to get Thomas or Mitchell. Those 2 will be good NFL caliber wrs. I'm also convinced once wrs start coming off the board, the run on wrs will begin. There's just too much talent. I'm a little skeptical of Worthy not running drills but I think a team between 11-20 will grab him to begin the full run. Legette or McConkey would be acceptable at 28 if we don't move up. -
They're all going to be gone by the 3rd round. After watching today, we won't have the luxury to wait till the 4th round to get our 2nd wr.
-
You can't ignore the ridiculous quality and quantity of wrs this draft. If it's me, I'm drafting wr at 28 & 60. I'm telling Sean he's going to have to make do with rounds 3, 4, 5 for defense. Hopefully the 1st round wr replaces Gabe immediately and can transition to WR1. And the 2nd round guy can assume the WR2 role. Whatever cap $ we have to spend, use it on defense.
-
It's very doable. WR, DT, S, WR....
-
Worthy official time now 4.21 Fastest man in the history of the combine.
-
Yeah we may not see a wr draft like this for awhile. Strike 2x in the first 4 rounds. Ta hell with the defense.
-
Worthy just joined the 1st round. 4.25
-
Thomas just does a 4.34
-
Clearly your not a Milton fan and I'm not in the mood to spar so I'll leave it at that.
-
I think we could use an early 6th on him easily. Tired of wasting 3M per year on rehashed vets who aren't seeing the field anyway.
-
You do realize we're talking about a backup for Josh who will likely never see the field nor will he cost us 3M/ yr. EJ was a starter. Poor analogy.
-
Joe Milton please as Josh's backup for the next several years.
-
He's 65% his last 2 collegiate seasons. And he's been on the money today. Yeah I'm drafting this kid rather than waste 2-3 million every year on the Barkley, Tribisky, Allen brigade. Now Milton is putting on a show during the Josh drill.
