  1. See this way too often in the NFL. Guys go for a highlight reel hit to dislodge the ball. It rarely works. You have to wrap a guy up. This is really training camp fundamental stuff.
  2. It’s generally the highest rated TV program each week
  3. I’ve often been critical of Frazier and his conservative tendencies. He’s definitely impressed me this season as he seems to have a newfound willingness to send pressure. I’ve had very few issues with his coaching this season. He’s been excellent.
  4. Is it known that he’s a fan f the Pats? If so, I’ve lost respect for Michaels as Pats fans are suspect humans. Really ? I recall Collinsworth being hugely complimentary of Nick Foles and the Eagles coaches in that game. Then again, Eagles fans booed Santa lol
  5. A check last night showed flights BUF to HOU that week double the cost of any other week in January. Maybe due to New Years, but seems the airlines were on this quickly. Pretty sure they said it was 1991
  6. That’s only if you know that no other team put in a claim, which they wouldn’t know. You have to assume a NE or top team is going to put in a claim to either improve or block him from a competitor.
  7. Exactly. Could simply be a move to block him from BAL, NE etc.
  8. The 53rd player currently on the roster. That’s an easy one.
  9. I’m sure they’ll coach him up on fighting for extra yards and securing the football. Pats always go for the strip as well, so it will be a focal point. A quick check of NFL combine numbers for RBs does confirm Singletary’s hands are small for an NFL player. Still, I think it’s more about ball position while carrying than his hands alone.
  10. Versus that defense, ( coupled with the lack of a threat at QB) it was not a terrible gamble. Singletary had already put the ball on the ground twice. PIT has a lot of takeaways. I don’t think they would treat it the same if a Watson, Brady, Mahomes et al were on the opposing sideline in a playoff game. We will find out soon enough.
  11. Current 2020 NFL draft order has Bills at 25 and Chiefs at 26. If that’s the same as the waiver priority then Bills did not submit a claim for Suggs.
  12. Same record, so I’m not sure what would determine the order at that point.
  13. They were confident playing PIT offense for sure, so that’s exactly why they were content to not risk a turnover vs that defense while in search of a FG. I had no problem with the strategy in that situation.Fine to take your lead into the half and make some adjustments. I mean, just what about the Bills offense makes you think they should play for shootouts ?
  14. Each game is different. They knew PIT was great at forcing turnovers , but wasn’t likely to score offensively. They weren’t going to “ milk” a 7-3 lead for a half of football lol. Now, once they had a TD lead with under 10 minutes to play they got very low risk on offense. If a different QB is on the other sideline , they probably don’t feel that comfortable with just a TD lead. This offense as currently constructed has major limitations. Thats not going to change too much this season. I’d have preferred a more aggressive approach after the T White INT return, and such an approach will probably be required in a playoff game. The only playoff game we have to refer to was a different OC with Taylor at QB.
  15. This will be like another Ravens game on offense. Just have to do a better job, and take what’s available. Daboll needs to give Josh answers to the blitzes, and Josh needs to take them. Not getting many zone looks in this one.
  16. No, not at all. Pressure is totally off. They won’t get any calls in Foxboro, but they don’t have the crazy environment that PIT has. Fans were booing in NE the other week. Just didn’t like that PIT matchup all year. Probably ptsd from the ‘90’s teams . If Allen and Daboll are better, they’ll have a good shot at this. Brady has looked worse lately than he did in OP
  17. Exactly. They did just what they needed to in order to defeat PIT, and took no chances with cheap turnovers. Not the same as they would need vs anyone else. In a win or go home situation, I don’t believe they’d have the same approach.
  18. No problem. Just start getting Josh used to throwing slightly deflated footballs.
  19. Bills will be road team most likely, so it will be about the home team more than their opponent. Probably HOU or TEN so Saturday slot is likely. KC will get the prime slot
  20. Common opponents record. They beat PHL and CLE.. Have to get em on division record so they have to lose to MIA
  21. He’s a total dill hole
  22. Yeah, hopefully we get all the postgame coverage with a solid win. I get that PIT is at home but c’mon...
  23. Saints watching with interest
  24. Nothing wrong with it. Fans want to know what lies ahead. The Bills have a few tough games scheduled in DEC that are bad matchups. Depending what happens the next week or so, they may rest starters vs the Jets if they can’t improve their seeding
