It’s no mystery; prime time games come with consistent winning or being a big market team such as Dallas or Chicago. If the Bills win consistently , prime time appearances will follow. As for practicalities, many have pointed out that these games are not the most fan friendly. Sunday 1 pm games are much more convenient to plan around. Prime time games are scheduled for the TV audience, not those attending the game. So while these games mean national relevance and recognition, they aren’t the best things for fans that like to go to the games. For the team, they are a schedule disruption, but an indicator of success and a chance for the players to be in the spotlight.
