He can move around a bit and looks better than say , Mac Jones. Not sure if he’ll be any good yet, too soon to tell I guess.

12/22/24 GAMEDAY Week 15 Bills vs Patriots* Post GameThread
Boatdrinks replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don’t know about a KC collapse, but if they lose @PIT the Bills starters will be in week 18. The games will be played simultaneously as well, to ensure “competitive integrity “ The backups just don’t cover and tackle nearly as well, so the results are far worse. -
Right. If anything the one game the Chiefs were always going to win ( even if they started Wentz ) was home vs HOU. Not saying they’re going to drop both road games , but they were never losing to the Texans.

12/22/24 GAMEDAY Week 15 Bills vs Patriots* Post GameThread

Not really a “ weather” game today- just cold. I get the point though- it’s a long season and you’re going to get a few games like this. Not surprising that it was a division game. The team didn’t look like they really brought it today , but they capitalized on enough NE mistakes to get the W. -
I’d have to agree with this. Allen vs the MVP field is a better chance than the Bills vs the playoff field.
-
Maybe, but my gut feeling is his MVP case has been written.

With the takeaways , didn’t the Bills “find a way to win” ?

Saturday Football Thread: PIT@BAL & HOU@KC (no Bills stuff please)
Boatdrinks replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watering down aside, as Bills fans we should hope for this change to happen ASAP. The worst part of the expanded playoffs for the Bills is the elimination of the bye for the 2 seed. This year it appears they will be the 2 yet again. I’d venture the Bills would have reached a Super Bowl with Allen already if they had been awarded the previously standard bye week. -

Not really. It’s great to be able to rest some players and all, but the real benefit of the bye is only having to win one game to reach the AFC title game. It’s just a much easier path to a Super Bowl appearance. -

People may be saying such things, but probably not people that actually have an MVP vote. -
Maybe. Or it removes all doubt about the worthiness of the eventual champion.
-
Actual MVP voters seem to have been leaning strongly toward Allen and his resume built through the last month in particular. I don’t think it’s as close as a meaningless season ender making a huge move in the race. As for Allen sitting, he’ll play as long as seeding is in doubt. After that he may just make a preseason style cameo appearance in a week 18 game.

Clearly he’s fine and will not missing be any time, but there’s no way he’s got a high ankle sprain.

Josh Allen AFC Offensive POW Again (Week 15)!
Boatdrinks replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying every bit of this great Josh Allen era of Bills football. Including any and all accolades that come the way of Bills players. The NFL world’s championship won’t take place until February. So take the wet blanket elsewhere. Bills fans deserve to savor these years after 17 years of NFL irrelevance. -
There has been a growing consensus over the last month that Josh Allen has made his case for MVP. I’m talking about amongst actual MVP voters. The Lions game seems to have cemented that. Sure, there needs to be discussion on talk shows for entertainment value. However, in past years it seems the voters move almost in lockstep with just a few dissenters. This means much more in the end than talk show fodder. Longtime NFL writers such as Armando Salguero have joined in almost universal praise of Allen. This is why I believe Allen has locked in his first MVP award.
