This is most likely correct. I doubt the Bengals make the postseason, and their defense is not what it was if they manage to.
Not surprised at these numbers. The guy was invisible today.
I remember a certain passing play for Seattle in the Super Bowl a number of years back. Maybe not quite at the 1, but we know how it turned out. Allen is pretty much money on these sneak type plays. Just didn’t get in that time. I didn’t hate the strategy.
Crazy to think that a 42 point day on the road by any Bills team would be called a let down.
Maybe. They had zero pass rush and anytime the Bills tried to change it up, the Rams handled it. Maybe just a few passes that Stafford had to throw early etc.
I think it’s a lot of hair splitting. I had no doubt that Josh Allen was going to bring the team back to victory right up to the no call on LA for false start. The entire ending changed at that point imo, from a likely Bills win to an almost certain loss.
While some of these are fair points , we shouldn’t forget it took a whole lot of superior plays by Rams WRs and a punt block for a TD to get the Bills into the loss column today.
It might. They have games like this a few times a year. This is not a dominating defense. It’s a good defense that plays better with a lead. The offense didn’t get going for awhile , and that tends to be when the Bills have this type of game.
Defense stunk , but Josh was very good. The officiating changed the ending . That was a false start all day long , and Bills had the momentum. That’s a bad way to lose the chance at the 1 seed for sure.
Lol , true. It suggests ( to me anyway) that there must be an alternative opinion of somehow not going “ all out” but I just don’t see an NFL team doing that.
In that case I’d say it goes back to the old NFL adage- you can play hurt but you can’t play injured. While that 1 ( or even 2 for that matter ) seed is in play you try to get it. Everyone is some degree of hurt when you get to December football.
While not an assassination, your statement in paragraph 2 is just stupid. No one is murdered by an insurance company or its algorithm. Just an idiotic concept.
