  1. Just stop with your nonsense. Tom Brady worked hard every offseason to improve. Peyton Manning did. Look at other sports and the guys who worked hardest to improve every day were guys like Jordan and Bird. and yes, I am quite sure Josh is doing the same. Because he, unlike you, knows one can constantly improve. No one is claiming Josh alone is holding the team back, only that he like EVERY OTHER ATHLETE IN RECORDED HISTORY can improve. Does our D need to improve a helluva lot more than Josh for us to win? Absolutely. Coaching? A helluva lot more, absolutely. O line? Yep, absolutely. Quit with your hero worship and read what people are actually saying.
  2. People are trying to have a reasonable discussion, but you insist on hijacking it with this kind of hyperbolic nonsense. For the Bills to win a Lombardi ALL aspects of the team must improve, coaching, player performance etc. That includes the QB.
  3. Don’t give me the narrative crap. I think there is plenty of evidence to say that you don’t want to give Mahomes the ball back with time left. A first down let’s you run more clock, then kick a FG from closer in and with a lot less time on the clock. Did Josh lose the game? Of course not - the D with all the injuries needed to hold one more time and couldn’t. Is Josh great? Yes. Can he be even greater? Also yes.
  4. I would suggest that if Josh had taken the shorter throw instead of trying to hit Shakir, we could have run more clock and beaten KC. Josh is an immense talent. No one denies that. I’m glad he’s our QB. But his improvement will come not in the physical but the mental part of the game, knowing when to take the shorter option as an example. I expect the more seasons under his belt the more we’ll see that.
  5. There is not a player in the league that cannot continue to improve. We all love Josh but that doesn’t mean he needs to be treated as some God of perfection.
  6. The issue is getting enough height to avoid kicks being blocked
  7. With Josh we always have a shot to win it all. Which does not mean he cannot improve. He still has a tendency to throw too many picks for example.
  8. In the first round you take a guy that has All Pro potential, no matter the position. If it’s a WR, great. A lineman, great. DB? Great.
  9. One of the most historically important people in WNY history
  10. I think the PSLs will sell fairly well. I base that on a couple things. One, the general level of insanity for the Bills among the fan base. Two, I think there is more disposable income folks among fans than is generally thought to be so. Every year we see how much Bills fans will travel to away games, thus they have the $$ to do so. Plus I mentioned earlier when I visit the area restaurants, bars, other sporting events like the Bandits are full. I think you’ll see scenarios where folks may split the cost and go to X number of games and such.
  11. I am pretty certain that if they had not signed veteran depth your take would that the Bills would now have to waste draft picks on unproven talent to have as backups.
  12. The high PSL price for premium seats is to be expected. We’ll have to see what more “normal” sears will be but I doubt they’ll be so extreme as to price folks out. I grew up in Tonawanda and am well aware that WNY is historically and proudly blue collar. And while I understand folks yelling about these PSLs, here’s what I see when I visit. When I come back, the restaurant parking lots are full. Strip mall parking lots are full. I’ve been to Bandit games and the place is packed. So from what I can see, there is disposable income in the area, and folks will decide whether they want to use that disposable income on the Bills. My guess is many will. Maybe you’ll split one with a friend. And no doubt there will be a larger secondary market for seats for individual games. But Bills fans will fill the new place, no question.
  13. Might as well just make it flag football.
  14. I agree about safety. As much as we all love Poyer and Hyde they were slowing down.
  15. If they see it as a priority then Beane will move up in round 1.
  16. This year? No. Although I would be surprised if they don’t draft a WR day 1or 2. They’ll keep Diggs another year or two, then when he and Miller’s cap numbers become manageable they can get a 1 in free agency if they don’t have a guy from the draft that earns it.
  17. I agree somewhat here. I’ll be interested to see if Babich is given the opportunity to use more blitzing given he knows the LBs well.
  18. When you put something in quotes it generally means you are citing someone. Show us where anyone on the board called McD a guru.
  19. Yes. And more will be spent over the years, because you need at least 8 D linemen. Basham was a bad decision. Murphy an uninspired FA choice. But if Miller doesn’t tear his ACL we had a great shot 2 years ago.
  20. So let everyone walk and have Von and Jonathan.
