  1. B-. The two throws to Know were not as easy as some here believe; I will go with Kurt Warner's opinion over anyone here. But at least one should have been a TD. He had trouble reading the defense; and Belichick is who he is by doing just that to QBs, especially young QBs. But then you have him doing what he does in the fourth and almost pulling it out. He's still a work in progress, as is any second year guy. Still needs to work on pre-snap reads especially against defenses as complex as a Belichick one. Missed a couple throws he should have had, made some throws most QBs can't make. And at least shut those up complaining about not being able to complete the long ball.
  2. Agree for the most part. I felt our play calling on both sides of the ball was overly conservative, and coming from an old school guy that likes conservative football that is tough to say. And we got beaten physically on both sides of the lines, with very poor tackling by the defense in addition to that. Bottom line is Brady is Brady, and Belichick is Belichick. The two best ever at what they do. Brady can read what our D wants to do very quickly and get to the right play. Belichick can take away what offenses want to do and make life miserable for young QBs. They did what they do yesterday, and that's why they've won the division for what seems like forever. But we're close now, and it's going to turn soon.
  3. Warner said it. Was a tough throw to get over the defenders but before Know is OB.
  4. Tackling was poor. O line spotty. Belicheat did his normal thing to a young QB. Worst part will be all the geniuses showing up now when they disappeared after the last couple victories.
  5. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field. And bury Brady.
  6. Allen has a 59.3% completion rate. Roughly the same as Winston’s interception rate.
  7. One of the brethren here who fancies himself a QB expert would have traded an entire draft for Winston. I don't think I’d give them a 7th round pick right now
  8. Boys, the Bucs are impressive
  9. And to think some would rather have Winston than Allen
  10. Allen outduels Brady in Bills victory Bills defense dominates in shut out of Patriots Brady cries for his mommy after being sacked 10 times in Bills win over the Patriots
  11. Making rational arguments to irrational individuals rarely helps
  12. https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/9r7q6x/the_last_25_super_bowl_champions_and_their/ What it shows is some have good offenses and good defenses, some are bad offense and great D, and vice versa. So you are cherry picking again.
  13. Why do all of us have to deal with your obsession?
  14. Yes we do. What we get is that offense does not correlate to 300 yard passing games, nor do wins. As you have been shown time and time again. You need help.
  15. Yeah. Why acknowledge factual history?
  16. And there are different ways to win with offense, such as a thing called running the ball. And there are different ways to win football games, such as with defense. Defense wins championships, always has, always will. What this comes down to is this: you have publicly stated you don't like the way the Bills are playing because to you it is not entertaining. You want to be entertained by a lot of yards throwing the ball. Apparently winning football games is not entertaining to you, given the 10-4 record. You claim winning football with a 10-4 record is comical just because they don't happen to run an offense you like. So you have choices to make. You can either continue to rant and howl at the moon, and remind everyone here of the definition of insanity. Or you can change your view of what is entertaining, embrace the fact that the Bills have a team that plays suffocating defense and an offense that places emphasis on running and a conservative passing game designed to not turn the ball over, and actually enjoy the run they are making this season. Or if being entertained by a ton of passing yards is what gets you off, then change you allegiance and root for, say, Tampa Bay, where they throw for a ton of yards, an ton of picks, and are going home in a couple weeks. Your choice.
  17. I will say the same thing that I and countless others continue to say to you: who cares? Just because you want to be entertained by offense doesn’t mean the team has to change its philosophy to appease you.
  18. Fair enough. I don’t know that I’d say major leap, but clearly you want any second year QB to continue improving.
  19. They’ll play hard but they don’t have the horses.
  20. Saying he plays almost identical to last year pretty much disqualifies you from any rational discussion about Allen. And your statements about how you want 300 yards just because it’s more exciting football, to the point of being OK ever if they lose, counts you out for rational discussion as well.
  21. I’ll be calmer here I hope. Coaches are paid to win games. They are not stunting Allen’s growth. They are using one of the best defenses in the league to form the basis for their strategy. And they are trying to make sure their young QB does not make a lot of mistakes and turnovers because the coaches know two things: defense wins championships, and turnovers lose games.
  22. Come on now. So you have a team that puts wins on the board before the last two minutes and that is used as a criticism? Allen looks lost? When? What I see is a young QB that plays his best in the fourth quarter. That’s a good thing to have. Why are some folks looking to find ways to criticize the kid? Everyone knows he hasn’t reached his potential yet but it comes across as wanting him to fail. I wanted Rosen. Wanted Watson before that. But I like what I see in Allen, has a lot of potential to grow. And he just seems to fit the community.
  23. I wish I agreed. Unfortunately there are some here who are too invested in claiming Allen was a bad draft pick. They will simply move to another false criticism.
