  1. That’s your problem then. It’s not disturbing the vast majority of folks.
  2. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  3. The Shot Heard Round the World. Best play in Bills history.
  4. The Bears did just what we did to the Cowboys. Played a solid game on both sides of the field, and the Cowboys then showed they have neither the coaching nor the intestinal fortitude to meet the challenge. Oh, and Prescott threw for over 300 in a losing effort.
  5. Another old time guy: Vin Scully. Guys like him and Enberg could call anything and make it sound great. And even farther back an announcer who I don’t think ever got the credit he deserved: Chris Schenkel. He did some football , and was smooth enough to make bowling exciting every Saturday.
  6. Historic: Play By play pros: Charlie Jones Play by play college: Keith Jackson- best ever Color: Madden Present day: Play by play pros: Ian Eagle- great young announcer Play by play college: Fowler Color: Romo
  7. Condolences to your family
  8. I have never heard of this site before and such an article probably explains why
  9. There’s something called a contract
  10. The kid is coming along. One of the common themes in the league is that it takes time for young O linemen to develop because so many of them don't play with their hand in the dirt anymore in college, and they don't play against higher level talent seen in the pros. He might be fine at RT with more experience, he might be better at G. But there should be a place for him based on what we've seen thus far. Oh, and the criticism that he sometimes get beat one on one by very fast DE's coming around the edge? That's pretty much the norm except for the very very best tackles.
  11. Can’t be sentimental. The Colts season is probably lost because they were overly sentimental about Vinateri. Bring him in for a look.
  12. Good God. How long do we have to be subjected to your personal gripe about being more entertained by passing yards? This team is set up to be a balanced offense with a strong D and it works! And one of the reasons we don’t have a 300 yard game is because it works, because we don’t get so blown out of games we get trash yards. Rational fans care about wins. Rational fans don’t go back 45 games for some arbitrary reason when you had different QBs and different WRs playing against different teams. And so on. I like the running game. Looking at 2018 stats 8 of the top ten running teams were in the playoffs. Nine of ten look like they’ll be this year. But do I continually post thread after thread and post after post and talk about how I will unapologetically continue to post about how we have to hit X rushing yards per game as a factor of success. No. Why? Because it’s wins that matter. And because I don’t feel the need to exasperate everyone with my personal entertainment preferences.
  13. I don't think anyone can argue about the lack of adequate QB play since Kelly. I think we may have just solved that with Allen. It's fun to watch a Bill's QB play again! I still don't get why folks have to look for reasons to criticize the kid, the team, whatever. He is developing quite nicely I'd say. I ascribe it to a defense mechanism after so much poor play over the years. Agreed, but I guess I don't understand why folks have to put qualifiers in for the team this year. Sure, if we had a bad defense our record would be worse. But instead, why not credit the GM and HC for putting together a really good D that helps their young QB in games as he develops?
  14. This is passer rating? The continued issue that keeps being brought up herein is the lack of a 300 yard passing game by Allen, which has been shown time and again to not necessarily correlate with wins. If I have ratings correct, you could throw 12 times, complete ten for say 120 yards and 3 TDs with no int's and you'd have a very good rating.
  15. I agree Murphy hasn't been as bad as some would suggest, but I think they will look to upgrade their pass rush this off-season. So he may be a casualty.
  16. Yes. Check the playoffs last year.
  17. You can keep ranting unapologetically about this if you want. I'm not sure if it's more amusing or sad at this point, but just go right ahead. You can keep doing so, and keep looking silly, but that's your right to do so. The thing that we all recognize, that is what we keep trying to tell you, is that it doesn't matter. The only thing that matters in the NFL are wins. And there are different ways to do so. The Bills have a very balanced offense right now, a good defense, and that equates to a winning record. Period. Dead stop. End of story. It does not matter a hill of beans what has gone on the last 45 games or whatever. it does not matter what happened 45 games ago with a different QB and different players on offense and so on. The only person this seems to matter to on this board is you, and that's because you don't happen to find it "entertaining" football. You would apparently rather be entertained than see winning football. Again that's your right, I suppose, but the continual ranting about this just to assuage your sensibilities is getting ridiculous. Personally, I find old school football with a power rushing attack and a defense that crushes the life out of the other team enormously entertaining. But I'm not coming on here repeatedly ranting about how ridiculous it is that we don't have a 200 yard rushing day every game, or that the D doesn't hold teams to less that say 14 points a game. What will happen when Josh does throw for 300 yards? First. based on all the data that has been provided and reprovided and reprovided again it's about 50:50 whether that would be in a win vs. a loss. Are you really going to come on here and say you're satisfied he threw for 300 in a loss? If you do, then you really have issues. If they win, I would put money on what comes next. The next thing will be: Sure, he did it once. But he has to show he's capable of doing it all the time. Even though, for the umpteenth time, it means nothing when it comes to the only thing that matter: wins. Does it come down to McD? Sure it does. He's the coach that has them at 9-3 right now. He's the coach with a coaching staff that has developed a sound D, a young QB starting to show he's the answer, he's the coach that along with a pretty savvy GM retooled the O line, brought in some great FW WRs, and on and on. How many teams in the NFL would love to have a coach and GM like we have right now? Many. And yet, because you're not entertained enough it's bad? Like I say, keep ranting unapologetically if you want. The rest of us care about wins, and we're just delighted thank you.
  18. Mind boggling at this point.
  19. I'm OK with not extending him. HE's had a pretty solid year this year, and I think they can use the$$ they would save from letting Murphy go, having Zo retire, plus the large amount of cap space they have anyway to resign him.
  20. And we’re all done with your obsessions and lies and refusal to acknowledge simple facts.
  21. Just keep winning.
  22. Quit lying. No one is saying a 300 yard passing game is bad, just that it does not correlate to winning football games. You’re reached a new low with that comment.
  23. If Josh does not have one 300 yard passing game then McD has to be fired...,
