Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem

Did you say they can’t beat a winning team? Yes. Did you then say they’ve done so 3 times under his tenure? Yes. Which statement is true and which is BS? Or are both BS? For me, they have things to work on. But in the NFL wins are wins. -

I deal with the statements you make. You said they can’t beat a good team under McD, then said they have done so three times. Why do you have trouble owning your own statements? -

He needs to continue improving, no doubt. And they need to trust him to do so. -

266. Roberts catches that one ball he’s there. Which is what I said. Percentage? How many drops today? And yes he missed a few. Threw a few away. Two drives in the fourth, one to go ahead, one to get them a tie. But no growth. Right. You talk of fantasy. I prefer reality. Reality is that you have said you’d like to see the team lose. -

So you realize your statement that they can’t beat good teams is false? That’s nice. -

I want you to be objective now. Does Allen have work to do? Sure. Still developing his reads for example. But did you see the throws he made today? Today showed the stuff about accuracy is ridiculous, except the long ball which he needs to hit. He was hitting throws routinely in the intermediate space. Missed a couple and had some drops. He takes advantage of a shorter field and gets them in for the go ahead score in the fourth. Gets them back into position for a tying FG with About a minute and a half. The wasted time was dumb if that was on him or dumb if on the coaches. Cleveland as you put it made him play QB. And he did OK doing so. See, here’s the thing. Making declarative statements like this are misguided at best. Say they beat the Boys in Thanksgiving. You realize you’ll look silly right? -

One game of 300 yards would not show growth. Roberts holds onto the one pass today Allen throws for 300. Would that have changed your posts? No. And if he did then it would be well, it’s only one game, he has to do it consistently. You really think folks here haven’t figured out your act? You want the team to lose. You try and hide it with this growth stuff, but you have said you’re OK with them losing. Own it. -

I read very well. You’d rather have a loss. Mahomes threw for over 400 today. They lost. Sounds like maybe you should consider rooting for them. -

It’s not like I don’t see things that get me crazy. Singletary is the most dynamic guy in our team yet we can’t or won’t give him the ball. Allen is coming along, but there are times I scream at my TV: throw the ball!! -

So blowing off steam, I guess. That’s nice. -

Again pick your verb. You keep talking about how McD should be gone yet admit he won’t be. Other than letting you blow off steam what sense does that make? -

I agree on the last drive. Not sure what they were thinking there. I keep saying let Josh be Josh; he should have just spiked it there. Don’t know if that was on him or the coaches. -

So you know McD isn’t getting fired yet post after post you demand it. That makes a ton of sense. -

You cry about not hitting passes over 20 yards. Hit Roberts right in the hands. Drops it. You are on record saying you would rather see the team pass for 300 and lose vs. win. You don’t care if the team wins or loses. You’d actually rather they lose to prove some bizarre point. That pretty much tells us all how seriously to take your posts. -

Ok. You can moan, complain, cry whatever. Pick your verb. Won’t change that McD ain’t going anywhere. -

As I said keep yelling all you want if it makes you feel better. He’s not going anywhere. -

Allen is going nowhere. You know that, I know that. So people need to quit saying he won’t. He is in his second season and shows ability to bring the team back in the fourth. Threw a lot of really good balls today. Still working on his reads, and needs to hit one deep ball to get the monkey off his back. -

3 weeks ago people were calling him a coach if the year candidate. The one thing he should do is tell Daboll to get the ball in Singletary’s hands. You can yell all you want; this team is 6-3. Losing a close game isn’t cause to set the barn on fire. -
What Was The Worst Thing About Today's Loss?

Coaching. You have to get Singletary more touches. -

6-3. Lost a tough one today. The only game we truly stunk this year was Philly. i understand people get emotional after a loss. But the reality is this: Beane is going nowhere, McD is going nowhere. Allen is going nowhere. Daboll and McD need to have a heart to heart about using their young RB better. Some of your stuff is on point. Some not. But the plan is not failing because they lost a close game.- 140 replies

Daboll is an excellent play caller
oldmanfan replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah he missed a couple long balls and that needs improvement. But I think at most 5% of passes are in the air more than 30 yards. Still, hitting McKensie would have been big. I say let Allen be Allen. Let him play the first three quarters the way he plays 4th quarters. And get Singletary the ball! -
Singletary finishes with EIGHT rushing attempts

Have to get your most dynamic guy more touched
