  1. I recall many wanting Coughlin brought in as our guru.
  2. I’m astounded he didn’t get canned Friday morning.
  3. Our D had a collective brain spasm that day.
  4. Now you’re just being silly. Our balanced offense got the lead and forced their hand. I agree they should have kept pounding Elliott earlier.
  5. You do realize I hope that the 4th down failures and such had a lot to do with the defense. Talking about the Dallas offense actually disproves your main concerns. Part of winning games in the NFL is taking teams out of what they do well. Belichick is the GOAT based on this idea. We forced Dallas to get away from pounding it in the ground with Zeke, and made Dak throw more than they wanted. So he threw for over 300 AND THEY LOST. i can’t believe you’re being this myopic about this.
  6. I don’t get caught up in such trivia. I’m smart enough to know that winning is what matters and that teams win in different ways. The prior two years were the prior two years with a new management team working on things. I care about what’s going on right now - no sense living in the past. And right now they look really good. If Allen threw for 300 last eeek the only thing that would have changed is it would have quieted your obsession
  7. Can’t really argue the way the Ravens are playing.
  8. I don’t see any real argument against this.
  9. Still don’t want to answer the question but that’s OK. is it OK with you that their record is 9-3?
  10. You did not answer the question. The question is you want a 300 yard game because to you it’s entertaining. Correct? We lost the the Eagles because our D forgot how to play the run. To the Browns because the D did not stop them where we were up with a few minutes left. And who knows what happens with the Pats if Allen doesn’t get hurt. Yiu have an obsession with this for some peculiar reason.
  11. Correct. Which is why some discount the obsession some have with the Bills having a 300 yard passing day.
  12. And the only reason you care is because you find it more entertaining, correct?
  13. And I respect your thoughts in my outlook being antiquated. I would not disagree. Just that sometimes older is better. Yeah. I’m cool with the opinion some like the celebrating. Said so several times now.
  14. Go back and check my posts here. I have said multiple times that while it is not my preference I understand things have changed, that players do this now, and that I am not yelling to the league to go back. If I wax Goodell I would limit it but I’m not. I think if you objectively look at the postings herein there is a refusal to accept the opinion of some older folks.
  15. Those advocating for the importance of 300 yard games might want to consider looking at first half stats only, or stats where scores are within X amount between teams. The biggest potential fly in the 300 yard ointment is the yards teams get in garbage time or when they are forced to only throw when far behind. Thursday’s game was a good example; Dallas had to throw a lot to try and get back in the game.
  16. Show me the correlation coefficients.
  17. Yep, us old folks are pretty smart. You should listen.
  18. It’s an anomaly. But winning football teams do so with balance. Pass when it’s to your advantage, run when it’s to your advantage, play good defense. Win the turnover battle. Dominate up front. You are more interested in being entertained than in wins. We all get that.
  19. You’re a great example of what’s wrong with society at large. Your opinion is truth; any others are false. Can’t tell the difference between fact and opinion.
  20. Too bad you can’t answer a simple question.
  21. You’d have less head injuries; guys would have to learn how to tackle the right way. Why is it unacceptable to you that there can be different opinions on the celebration topic?
  22. It’s amazing how some people overreact. The question is simply whether folks feel the celebrations were overdone. Some folks like me simply think it is regardless if it’s a Bills player or not. What’s amazing is the inability of people to accept different opinions.
