  1. Great job as usual Shaw. Winning games in the NFL is difficult anytime you step on the field.
  2. It has little to do with coaching. The D is bad for one reason: our front 7 is getting beat physically by the offensive lines. They get knocked back off the ball and cannot get off blocks. And that will last until these guys get mad enough at themselves to quit playing weak.
  3. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  4. Do you enjoy acting like a 3 year old? The derogatory term for the coach got old a long time ago.
  5. I think we’ll see a couple. I think the weather is going to affect things if the wind is what they’re predicting. If it’s really windy and Josh throws the first dozen or so plays like recent games I’ll be screaming at the TV.
  6. I agree we should run more. Haven’t watched the Pats but from what I’ve read they’re weak on runs to the edge. I think we see Motor and Moss come out of hibernation tomorrow. Plus Josh on some read option.
  7. Why are so many assuming we lose tomorrow? The pessimism and paranoia of the fan base is crazy. Sure, Belichick is a great coach; he’ll have something in store. But we have a pretty good team this year. Instead of moaning about blowing up our team (absurd even if there's a loss), McD being horrible and such, why not be a little optimistic?
  8. Edelman is out. Harry is out. His TEs are out. He had them his first several games. Come on. Sometimes it amuses me how paranoid we get. They will force Newton to show he can perform; he has struggled. Why assume he’s all of a sudden going to discover things? We’ll make him show he can, much like Belichick will probably make us show we can run the ball. It will be an interesting chess match.
  9. He doesn’t have receivers to throw to. And it may be a tough day for passing with the winds. And he has struggled. If it were Belichick coaching for us, he’d take away the thing the Pats do well -running- and force Newton to prove he can beat you with his arm. I expect McD and Frazier to do the same.
  10. We are going to see a resurgence of our run game this week. The Pats run D is weak especially on the edges. we get Feliciano back to help. I expect to see Motor and Moss off tackle a lot, and I expect a lot of read-option with Josh.
  11. The Pats are also susceptible to the run, especially on the edges. I expect to see Josh on some keepers this week.
  12. Fill the box and make Newton try and beat you with his arm. He has no WRs or TEs.
  13. Looks like you picked a bad week to start drinking.
  14. Congratulations! To answer your questions, yes you can drink and eat sushi, although you probably would be advised to not drink much in front of your wife, not because of health issues but she could get ticked that you can and she can't. Your life is about to be transformed in a way you never thought possible. As much as I and other dads can tell you about what's coming in advance, it won't prepare you for the emotions you'll have when you see your child for the first time. You will be overcome with emotions, ranging from the delight of seeing the child to the worries about how you'll pay for college and such. All at once. Some practical advice. Take over things like housework, laundry and such if you don't already; assuming your wife breast feeds she will be exhausted much of the time. Listen respectfully to your relatives about things, then you and your wife make your decisions about how you want to deal with a new born.
  15. whatever. Win on Sunday and we are much closer to winning the division.
  16. Not a bad idea. I need to look into it. I am not trained in mental health counseling so I’d have to see where I can help.
  17. Don’t read them. From what I gather the guys they hire have no more experience grading players than I do.
  18. It’s about entertainment and not victories with this guy. If he were a Chiefs fan he’d have complained about the game a couple weeks ago because they ran the ball to do so. He specifically stated last year he’d rather see the Bills lose as long as they had 300 yards passing. Just really sad.
  19. He has advocated for the Bills to lose. That’s all you need to know.
  20. Just line up and kick their butt.
  21. Not a head coach, but arguably one of the best coaches the Bills have ever had was Joe Collier, the architect of the AFL championship defenses. A defensive genius; wound up being a terrible HC but a defensive genius.
  22. Maybe they did. I am all for more mental health counseling and more professionals and earlier intervention. as I said above if I'm the policeman and a guy is running at me with a knife I don't have much choice. Tasers? Shoot lower ? I would like to hear from professional law officers as to how that might occur. As for it affecting the election, dream on. There aren't many minds that aren't made up and Trump is losing. Every night he goes on TV dismissing his own health officials advice on Covid and putting people in harm's way reminds voters just how terrible a job he's done. He's going down, and nothing is going to change that now.
