ESPN puts another long time Host on waivers
oldmanfan replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ESPN is a classic example of a company that figured out what is was doing right, then fixed it. -
Thinking back to the day Mahomes had a lot of supposed negatives. Played in the spread all the time, concerns about footwork, and such. With very very few exceptions no one foresaw how good he would be. And now in hindsight you have all these folks saying they knew he’d be the bomb. Kind of similar to Josh. How many people blasted him when he came out, inaccurate, small college pedigree, etc. and now hail him as a savior of the franchise? I wanted Watson in the Mahomes draft. But as it turns out I’m happy we got Josh and Tre.

The real fix that is needed is to ensure that every citizen in this country eligible to vote actually votes. Even with the record number voting this year there are still far too many of our fellow citizens who do not do their constitutional duty. And part of the reason is the machinations by a certain party to deny some voters access. All votes should be verified as being submitted by the correct individual. That can be done by identifying signatures, or by checking IDs when voting in person.

I see him making the semis but not the Hall. Tasker on the other hand is the best to do what he did in the history of the game; those are the type players that should be in the Hall.
-
Bennett the Hall of Very Good. Tasker, the best special teams player ever (non-kicker or return guy), a guy who changed the course of many games, should be in the Hall without question.

Help with non-Bills hall of fame argument

I’d go with Faneca. More dominant at his position and for a longer time. -

Could Darnold end up backing up Allen in Buffalo?
oldmanfan replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a chance. He is a starting QB; just needs to find an actual football team to play for. -

Trump's Legal Machine Grinds to a Halt

I have commented about him and responded to him numerous times. Just ignore this nonsense. Be bigger than him. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
oldmanfan replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It is political. Continuing to spew childish insults at those you don’t agree with keeps political progress from happening in this country. The majority of people in this country recognize the political parties have to start finding common ground to address many of the things that desperately need solutions. This partisan crap has to stop. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
oldmanfan replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So that’s the answer? Instead of engaging in actual dialog your answer is anyone who doesn’t agree with your childish antics should just ignore you? No. Absolutely no. Biden has said he wants to be a President for all Americans. You might want to model his approach. This country is doomed unless we put aside the kind of crap you and Trumpists spew. You’re the opposite sides of the same toxic coin. -

Acting like a child towards a child is a really rational approach. You’re being ridiculous. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Then here’s a more blunt way to put it: grow up. You likely learned as a child that two wrongs don’t make a right. So act like an adult instead of a three year old. -
Trumps play to disenfranise and steal election
oldmanfan replied to WideNine's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I have no problem with his court filings as silly as they have turned out to be. But when he tries to get state legislators to overturn the will of the people in a fair election that is actively trying to incite rebellion. That is sedition. -

I’m glad Biden won. I think Trump should be in jail. That said, I suggest you lighten up. We have to come together as a country and you calling people names isn’t helping anything. -
Trumps play to disenfranise and steal election

I think whomever the new Attorney General is, he or she may appoint a special prosecutor to determine if Trump committed sedition by illegally trying to subvert the lection. -

If Trump loses and refuses to leave
oldmanfan replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
To go back to the OP, it’s simple. If Trump refuses to leave then at 12:01PM on January 20th federal law enforcement will physically remove him if necessary.
