  1. Reminded me of the SB against the Skins. The Skins were dominant that year and it would have taken a heroic effort to win. I’m sad we lost Sunday, but I tip my hat to the Chiefs. They are really really good.
  2. I would take the approach of adding more talent up front. I think Feliciano is better at C than Morse, so put him there, get Ford back at one G and upgrade the other spot - Boettger is average at best. Get a House Ballard type at RT to replace Williams. And make sure the O line coach drills on run blocking. Open up more holes I think Moss would be fine, Williams as well, and Motor will have to earn a spot
  3. He could have gone to under routes I think a bit more. and I am confused we did not use McKenzie more, given the injuries to 3 of the other receivers. I said last night in another thread, it is expected that people look for things to blame when a team loses. But sometimes the simple answer is that the other team was just better. The Chiefs were just better last night. Their offense was better than our D, their D was better than our O, and their coaches were better that our coaches. They've been there a lot the last 3 years, and with guys like Mahomes and Kelcy that are HOF shoo ins. I expect the Bills coaches and players will absorb a ton from this experience to use next year, just as they used last's years loss in round 1.
  4. Josh will continue to develop and get accustomed to the championship game situation. Have you ever played competitive sports? It takes some time to process how to adapt to pressure. He made great strides this year. He'll make more as his career continues. I mentioned Brady as a sarcastic comment because clearly he does not succumb to the pressure of the moment. Yet if you watched their game yesterday he stunk in the second half. The one potentially notable exception to this is Mahomes, and even he had to close one before he won them all last year. Many greats, Manning, Favre, Brees, all went through this.
  5. If the Chiefs play in two weeks they way they played last night, they'll kill Tampa Bay. Will we see people questioning Brady then?
  6. Most all the other elite QBs in the league have been at it for years now, except Mahomes. Go back and see if they played in a championship game in year 3, then tell me how they looked. Josh didn't play that well last night. Their defense played really well, and that's that. He'll learn and continue to develop from this.
  7. Experience. I used to play competitive golf. The more you are in the moment the more you learn how to handle it.
  8. I expect they will be using draft picks and recycling FAs on both lines this offseason
  9. There's not a team in the NFL that has that answer. The Chiefs are one of the best offenses I've seen in almost 60 years of watching football.
  10. Helluva season. We now have a franchise Qb for years to come, and the future is bright.
  11. I think he played well this year. Yesterday he had to try and slow down to of the best in the business in Kelce and Hill. No one slows those two down.
  12. Going into this season the two things I wanted were a playoff win, and to know if we had our franchise QB. I got both of those. We got beat by a superior team. No shame in that. But for the Bills to improve and overtake the Chiefs, we need to focus up front. I expect a lot of turnover in the D line; need Star back to plug things up and a real pass rushing threat. I would look at moving Oliver around on the one to let him be more disruptive. Need to continue working on the O line. Both Feliciano and Williams looked bad yesterday. And run blocking has to improve either by scheme or personnel. Skill positions it would not surprise me to see Motor out next year. Need a fast change of pace guy. I think we’re fine at WR and in the back 7. Edmunds will keep improving and Dodson will replace Milano. Smoke will be gone but McKensie and Isiah our 6th rounder last year will step in. McD said after the game that the Chiefs have a lot of speed. I expect they’ll be adding speed all over the roster.
  13. Of course it’s talent. Mahomes, Kelce and Hill are future HOFers.
  14. All these were done better by a better team tonight. Just accept the Chiefs are better. Doesn’t mean we won’t compete next year, but tonight they were simply better.
  15. We lost to a better team. It’s that simple. When there’s a loss it’s natural to assign blame, but sometimes it’s just that the other side is better. Sad tonight but the future is bright.
  16. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  17. My daughter has a degree in Music Theater and is a professional performer. She has adapted a song from Book of Mormon for all of us Bills fans. We believe!! https://www.facebook.com/100000591525001/posts/4195101023852907/?d=n
