  1. To quote Chuck D., via Sonic Youth: “Fear. Fear of a female planet. Fear, baby.” P.S.- I love you, Kim!
  2. I’m always torn on posthumous stuff like this. Part of me is always like ‘could be interesting’, and another part of me is like ‘probably a reason this stuff has been “in the can” for 30 years’. Guess I’ll let my ears do the judging.
  3. First off, Go Habs Go & Blow Leafs Blow. Ok now that we got that out of the way, great game 1 last night, the old school hockey purist in me hasn’t been that excited about a game in a long time. Besides their first playoff matchup in 42 years, I do love playoff hockey. Can’t really be bothered w regular season, but when the playoffs start the game totally changes. More hitting, more grinding, more line shuffling and less whistles. Should be a good series, Price looked pretty good coming back off injury. Would love to see the Leafs on the golf course after round one
  4. Walking and hiking. And an occasional ramp-up for a 5k run. The running is killer on my knees though so I limit it these days. But dogs + walking/hiking go hand in hand. We live 2 minutes from the Niagara Gorge and theres so many different ways to take those trails. A few summers ago we parked at Artpark, hiked to Whirlpool park, called my FIL and asked him if we walked to Goat Island, would he pick us up and drive us back to Lewiston. He did! It was a great 7+ mile hike. We walk the dogs at least 5x/week, about 3 miles/day. My shep mix is starting to get a little wonky in his back legs, so we are starting to cut him back a but. Poor feller.
  5. Yeah I agree w this entire post. We really just stumbled upon this, very fortunate. My wife’s co-worker knew we wanted to try to go, she was in on the Sabres season tix holder pre-sale. I honestly didn’t care which game. She stopped over and said “did you guys get Blue Jays tickets yet? Because you have a pair now!”. She told us the date and I was floored that it was the Yankees. The irony here is that I’m literally the only non-Yankees fan in my entire family (Go Royals!). I’m on the adopted Jays wagon. Felt a little filthy buying a Jays cap last season but I learned to like it, they have a lot of character on the squad.
  6. Well...wow. To be fair, it’s likely a once in a lifetime opportunity. And if you have cash like that for entertainment/recreation then have at it, I suppose.
  7. Probably wouldn’t fit on a headband? Also, this is like a 25 year old beef. Poor fella got smacked by the business side of football...boo hoo. What an attention seeking maroon. This is in no way a defense of BB. I’m just mad at myself for actually reading that article.
  8. A friend scored us a pair for Yanks on 6/14, pretty excited for the experience. Let’s go Buffalo!
  9. Buncha Calvin Klein underwear models chiming in here. Youse guys must be taking a break from fighting off all that sweet sweet trim to post on a football board.
  10. Bars in Erie Co. are still open til 4am. In my prime, we didn’t leave the house til at least 11 to go out. That’s all I got here.
  11. Fresh stuff. Youse guys think Todd Collins is gonna work out??
  12. Peterman to Benjamin in the snow is still a good memory. So there’s that.
  13. Man. This friggin show buttonhooked me every. damn. time. when I was a kid. They’d wedge it in between some rad saturday morning shows like it was normal, and next thing you know BAM you’re getting a friggin sermon.
  14. A lot of ppl write off Devo as a silly one-hit 80’s band. They were Kent State students and Jerry Casale witnessed this in person. De-evolution wasn’t born that day, but it was definitely cemented.
  15. Sedona was fun, definitely enjoyed the hiking and sightseeing more than the hokey ‘uptown’ area. The overall altitude definitely got to my wife and I. Bit of a foggy feeling, and then factor in the heat. Restaurants and bars close way too early though, but we did catch a sunset or two on some nice patios. We’re 8-9:00 dinner people and that generally wasn’t an option. Ordered a 22oz ribeye and did not realize it was boneless. Crushed it! May have had something to do w that legal AZ weed...
  16. I don’t even know the last time we parked in an “official” lot. We were in the grass lot next to Louie’s forever, and then switched to join some friends in Doc’s lot a few years ago.
  17. We parked & tailgated there to meet some out of town friends that were staying there for the weekend of the infamous “Willie Parker Game” in ‘04. Never. Again.
  18. I will drop sh*t all over the wegman’s parking lot. you’re not getting that nickel outta me when I forget my reusable bag.
  19. We are definitely mostly there for the hikes and the views. But good heads up, we do enjoy late dinners and/or really taking our time when we go out to eat.
  20. I have done this on occasion as well. It’s usually a one-way ticket to sleeping on the couch that night 💨
  21. Awesome thanks. We do love all kindsa gin!!
