Season tix since '03. This is the first year that I haven't rushed to renew by the 'deadline'. I'm definitely waiting to see what happens roster-wise, but this board fiasco isnt helping OBD's cause.

Yeah, it's not like you can't talk football and still be goofy at the same time. I always felt as long as people weren't being straight up nasty, then let the small stuff go. It's a friggin game, people. A distraction for most of us. At the very least, it led some of us here. And just poking around a little bit I can tell there's some really good discussion with some good, clean snark mixed in. Perhaps 'looser' moderation leads to less divisiveness, less 'favoritism', and a more open, tolerant forum. Or maybe I should check back once the pads are on

Ralph had stones. Regardless of the on-field product, he stuck to his convictions and was the last true "thorn in the side" of the big, bad NFL. He took on the establishment by forming the AFL, and continued to vote against relocation fifty-odd years later. They all called him 'crazy old Ralph' when he held out on the new CBA agreement, then later they all admitted it was a bum deal and Ralph was right to be concerned. That's why I respected the man, and felt a loyalty to him. He was loyal to us. Terry, on the other hand, is definitely emo, what with the crying and the boogers at press conferences. Is either franchise better off since he took over? Definitely debatable.

I'm just glad Teef finally has a platform that will allow him, nay, encourage him to loosen his belt and eat as much cake as we can stand to watch him cram down.

Ha, you are totally nailing it. Shutting down the board is just more attempted control, along the lines of TP granting select interviews instead of facing the firing squad like a boss should.

Yeah, it got super uptight there the last few seasons. Active since '03, same username whole time, avoided personal attacks, followed coc, and all that blahblah stuff. I tried to (and still will)never post anything that I wouldn't say to someone's face, snarky sure, but never personally nasty. After being a spotless citizen, literally never even a warning put on my record, got some really random infractions, the nit-picky kind. Zero infractions for 13 years, and all of the sudden I'm getting randomly tapped up for "spam" for posting a one-off gif. Oh well, this place seems more my speed anyways, and I can appreciate that it's not run by company honks.

I promise to stay quiet, and I won't eat much....

BBMB was getting to be a total "no fun zone" anyways.
